Fingers crossed, but I'm not hopeful. I abandoned kdramas for this very reason- the fl fousted another man's child on the ml. She never told him, was just using him. But when the ml found out, he was just grateful that she didn't leave him. This was presentes as love? But is it really? I dont mind blended families but deceiving someone about his/her bloodline is unforgivable. Only a cuckold would accept such deceit. I wonder, is this what women want? Well, this woman doesn't. I totally hope like you, that we see fair treatment of both ml and fl. If we don't want misogyny, then we also don't want misandry.

You're absolutely right. I think they're following the current anti-men agenda. You've noticed how they put men down but oresent it as love. I dropped it for this same reason. It's just not ok having an emotionally wishy washy fl. Cdrama writers you can do better. On to the next!

It depends on what you're in the mood for. It's on hold for me too, because at present, I'm in the mood for passionate and exciting romance with lots of steam. However, when I feel like watching something that's nuanced and healing, that goes beyond a momentary adrenaline rush, to the entire journey of 2 wounded people learning to trust and depend on one another, then I'll pick it up again.

Usually I can't with cdrama fls. But here, I'm heart and soul for my girl. I understand them both, even though I want to kick his ass. Fl doesn't trust in ml's love for her, which is why she isn't opening up completely to him. Ml too has gone through absolute hell- they both have- having been betrayed so maliciously, which is why he seems fickle in his feelings. They're both wounded souls. I hope they find healing in each other.

This is lovely, I didn't like the novel so wasn't planning to watch. But I missed Bailu and I like the ml too, so thought to just watch 1 episode, just to see my favorites. The rest is history😂 It's one of the most beautiful dramas so far. Enjoy!

I just can't get over how beautiful my girl Bailu is looking in this drama!! The stylist deserves an award for not applying her makeup with a trowel as usual. She's so naturally beautiful she doesn't even need makeup; cosmetics should only enhance her gorgeousness, not cover it up and they got that right here. I don't think I can watch in real time, because I haven't been able to think about anything but them since I finished episode 11😁 so will wait for it to conclude then binge. I only hope the writers don't ruin it for me and continue to have them in a healthy, loving relationship. Wish you all happy viewing!!

Same here. She's giving villain vibes that's it. Not the whole fl package, and the perpetual blood red lipstick isn't helping much. I've never been able to finish any of her dramas, but I will try hard with this to support my little nephew Ranran😁 had the same issue with the fl of rebirth. Sad? Wide eyes. Angry? Wide eyes. Happy? Wide eyes. Dying? Wide eyes. In love? Wide eyes 😂😂 the casting director should be sued for wasting my 5 episodes time😂

This is so much better than the novel, which I struggled through about halfway, but eventually dropped. My girl isn't killing or mistreating her man for a very welcome change! She's strong, cunning and is serving revenge red hot to the bad guys, but she's also compassionate, caring and loving to the vulnerable. Totally relatable and adorable! This is just what the drama doctor ordered! To think I allmost decided to skip this😰
