Title Our Sticky Love Spoiler
Agree wasn't expecting this in this kind of k-drama... still wondering whether I want to continue with it...
You can continue watching it, it's interesting. Just skip the extreme violence scenes.

Title Our Sticky Love Spoiler
Ep4:

That high BP ajhumma is so annoying. She uses her age as an excuse for everything and never reflects on her actions. I liked how the FL told her off. Yeah, the FL does have some preconceptions about villagers, but she always treated the good villagers kindly. So, just because she said a few words out of spite, it doesn't justify that ajhumma's actions.

The FL threw away that dessert because she has trauma related to forced feeding, not because she looked down upon them. Instead of trying to understand, those women pounced on her like hyenas. Why wouldn't the FL speak back? I sometimes think that certain actions are what reinforce stereotypes more strongly.

Ep 2:

OMG!! The torture those people put her through was crazy. It's worse than those torture methods in historical dramas. I wish the worst kind of death on that boss of his!!

Title How Dare You!? Spoiler
Ep 16:

I hate the 2nd FL. She bites the hands that feed her. The FL literally carried her back, and what does she do? Takes clue from the Empress Dowager and throws FL under the bus, just so she can escape questioning. Girl was weighing pros and cons even through that physical pain. Even after that, she was sitting there wallowing in her own misery and feeling bad for her two-timing boyfriend. Both are losers with huge victim complex who go around feeling justified in taking it out on others. They both really DO match well 🙄.

Ep17:

Oh, girl is now justifying her actions using "survival" excuse. BS, who isn't trying to survive there? But no one is going around backstabbing people who helped them. Moreover, when she first transmigrated, instead of focusing on survival, she tried taking revenge on FL character, just because she "predicted" her character to be evil. She even had the audacity to say, "If you were me, you would do the same". I LOVE how ML doesn't give a damn about her words and tells her off. Pretty satisfying scene.

Their expressions were even more hilarious, tears rolling down his face and fireworks blasting in the background, lol🤣!! The union of 2 kindred spirits😂!

Ep 6:

So, girl decided to run away with his token. I can't believe she did that. I thought that there was trust between them, especially after going through all those life and death situations together. Fine if she decided to run away, but she took away his token too. That doesn't sit right with me.

And previously when he asked her what she would do with him after she clears her name, she hesitated and also averted his gaze when he mentioned that she might hand him over to the government for more credit. So, was she actually planning to snitch on him to the police after she achieved her goal?

Ep 5:

Master Yu telling Yu Ke that she is his very own kindred spirit - sure they both ARE kindred spirits. They don't care about ruining someone's life to cater to their own selfish desires. Happy that the fl escaped the grasps of both the mother and son. I'm sure Yu Ke is in for a ride in that family; serves her right.

ML was unreasonable? What did he ever do to tarnish her reputation? Both of them had their own reasons and things…
"But why should he have been considerate about her family situation?" - because he said that he wouldn't harm girls. If he says one thing and does something else, its hypocritical of him. Also, going by the same logic, why should she give him the money? Why should she keep his identity secret? He lost that money because he got caught by the govt officials. Has nothing to do with her at all. Also, he had many other ways to get back his money. Didn't actually have to create some more problem to someone who is already in a difficult situation, just because he judges her personal choices or wants revenge. If she wanted to get married to a well-off person, that's her personal choice. He doesn't have the right to threaten her through a letter. He threatened her, she did what she had to do to protect herself from him.

ML was unreasonable? What did he ever do to tarnish her reputation? Both of them had their own reasons and things…
No, the first time she didn't vent any anger on him. She simply resolved the problem he created for her by faking his identity. She clearly said that her family doesn't care whether he is the real salt inspector son or not. She said they only bother about the salt and would marry her off to him even if he was fake. So, she tried resolving that problem by calling his rivals. Even then she didn't reveal his identity. She only revealed it when he wrote her a letter threatening to harm her. If he didn't write that letter, she wouldn't have spread the news either.

When he got caught for the first time, he didn't leave simply. He wrote her a letter threatening to harm her. So, in order to protect herself from him, she lied that he stole money so that his men turn against him and she could get rid of him. I'm not talking about ruining reputation. I'm talking about causing trouble to her when she is already treading through thin ice. How could he not think that someone who is barely surviving in a scheming family can't simply arrange for such a huge sum of money? He was childish and reckless.

He tried to extort money from her out of vengeance. He put a knife to her throat and threatened her to give him money. He pretended to be someone else and even threatened her through a letter. Why wouldn't she expose him? He took it out on the wrong person. He had many other ways to find money.

Title The Road to Splendor Spoiler
Ep 2:

The ML is being unreasonable. It was his fault to pretend to be someone else and escalate the situation. The FL simply protected herself. Even after that, he was the one being childish to send her a letter threatening her. What else could she do to protect herself if not for exposing his identity? For the few days he was in that household, he clearly understood how things worked in that family. He even understood how delicate the FL's situation was. One wrong move and her whole life would be ruined. All that talk about not ruining a girl's life was just talk.

Miss Fan also sees only what she wants to see. She didn't even give the FL a chance to explain herself. She was projecting her inferiority complex onto the FL. I wonder if she will turn evil and create more problems to the FL.

First off, I would like to clear some misconceptions I read here about this drama. Hopefully this might help some future watchers contemplating on whether to watch this. This drama isn't low budget at all. Its budget is similar to "Moonlight Mystique". The cinematography, cgi and sets are beautiful. Especially the whale boat island. There are no whiny characters either. Now coming to the storyline, it's really good in the first half, the episodes were engaging and no-nonsense, keeping me hooked. Even up to ep28 or something it was still good.

For the last 10 episodes, the editing became choppy and many main scenes were cut out. The storyline started going downhill, still the twists kept me going. But the FL does turn stubborn and annoying for a while. About the ending, I am not happy, neither did I like the way it was presented. Again, heavy editing and removal of some important scenes was frustrating.

All in all, you can watch it once and enjoy the first 2/3rds of the drama. I personally didn't like the ending, but that's just a personal opinion. I am not a fan of one lead killing the other for "the greater good". The only drama which managed to pull off that trope well was possibly "Love between fairy and devil". Here they could've found a way to prevent that from happening, but I feel it was lazy writing in the end.

Title Love’s Rebellion Spoiler
Ep33:

I can't believe the FL's love towards the ML has become so fickle. Especially after knowing that he went through the excruciating process of planting nails in his body to subdue Sen Luo. She knows that it's not his choice to lose his conscious and become demonic. Despite knowing all this she still says she has no reason to trust him anymore. Simply because she has now found her father, she is ready to give up her love. Although it wasn't the ml who caused all those deaths, even if it happened to be him, she should be able to at least forgive him and continue loving him. But she chose to turn against him. She really doesn't deserve his sacrifice.

Surprisingly the ones whom I thought would chase the ml to his death, are actually the ones who became mature and decided to believe him. I actually thought foxy would turn against him, but to my surprise foxy continues supporting him even more strongly. Instead, it's the dragon lord who turned against him, again to my surprise. Another character turned fickle without any reason. They have also cut out so many important scenes.

Ep28:

I can't believe they cut out the scene where they kill Sen Luo. And please, how many times will they make the ML suffer? After going through all that pain to kill Sen Luo, now he has to again revive him to protect FL. That's a bit too much as he has died already once and went through excruciating pain the second time. It's getting annoying now.

********* SPOILER AHEAD***************

It's pretty clear now that the Premier of the Great Sect is the masked guy and is the one even behind the mass killing of Great Sect disciples back then. That's why the ML didn't give out the name of the murderer back then and went to such great lengths to get the Seven Sins manual to get rid of evil energy from his Master. He was also the only one apart from the ml who was at the crime scene. I guess he caught the evil energy when he went into the filth valley back then for fl's mom. Then that makes the fl his daughter. Whatever it is, I didn't like that guy from the starting itself. Their sect is the reason for all the mess, yet they go around acting as if they are pristine.

In the starting of ep20, and you can really feel how deep the fl's love for him is. I usually am not much of a fan of fancy dialogues, but this one dialogue of hers feels very genuine -
"If there ever comes a day when you've lost your heart, please don't forget that even though I'm in hell I'm willing to turn onto a flat boat floating on the river and take you to the other side".
That felt so touching, given what they went through before.

I have watched till ep8, and so far, it's really good. This drama isn't low budget at all. Its budget is similar to "moonlight mystique". The cinematography, cgi and sets are beautiful. The storyline is also very good. No whiny characters either. So, till ep9, I would give it a 9 rating.

Title The Starry Love Spoiler
Ep 39:

Well, Suzhi went crazy with her mass suicide mission in the end. But I kinda understand her resentment. No one cared about her tribe and the injustice they suffered, even till the end. The fl was mostly indifferent towards her pain most of the time. She only cared about her sister after her death and left the Heavenly Emperor alive after all what he has done. Probably because of the ml she couldn't bring to kill him, but still, he was left off the hook too easily. If only the fl paid more attention to Suzhi and her pain, maybe she wouldn't have become like that. Only Qinfeng genuinely understood her and cared for her.
