Am gonna say it for others, Pleaseeee I beg y'all if you are enjoying TFF please don't hate on The Best Thing…
They’re good to watch at the same time. They’re so very different that you can’t get confused. The look and feel of The Best Thing is light and fluffy.
some people complaining about second lead story but I enjoy them too, for me they are not taking too much time,…
I like the second leads as well although I wish it was more them and not so much of Grandpa. I don't get the point of Grandpa's storyline and how it fits in with everything unless it's just to keep the second leads interacting. However, both being friends with the main leads should be enough to do that.
I think that's a normal reaction, to want to reach out and at least have a conversation.
To reach out and have a conversation is fine, but the way they played it where she was so desperate didn't sit well with me. Anger would make more sense. But I suppose she was gaslit so badly that she thinks she needs him.
I kinda lost respect for Xifan after that text breakup. He was so awful to her and she knew it, yet she desperately tries to contact him afterwards. I realize it's hard to let go after a long a relationship, but an independent woman with self-respect would be angry and not desperate.
I sometimes get impatient with slow burn, but I like them when legitimate healing has to happen. One of my most favourite dramas is Meet Yourself and I don't think they got together until ep 30!
This is good to watch at the same time as The First Frost. A bit of light and fluffy vs trauma and angst. Even the cinematography gives such different vibes. This is so soft and pretty while TFF is dark and moody. I like balance in my life, so the two together is perfect for me.
can u believe it, they are each other’s first and only kiss in this lifetime. SANGYIFAN I LOVE U
Oh no! You’re going to summon that person who always posts it’s unrealistic how men in Chinese dramas stay pure into their late 20s. I happen to believe it’s still possible, rare but possible.
I'm genuinely so confused why chinese people are hating this drama... I saw some comments on YouTube of people…
Some Chinese viewers took issue with how she was assaulted/harassed even more than in the novel. Like the flasher scene is supposedly not in the novel. The drama isn’t lacking, it’s mostly that things were added to a popular novel.
This is my recommendation as well. It's similar in that both female leads are healing and the male leads are in love but just quietly support the FL. Hopefully this isn't as much of a slow burn although I loved the deep friendship and flirting in Meet Yourself before they get together.
