Shiit..i had not read the details till now...Untold scandal remake-hell NO. This was a very mature and scandalous film and i can 100 p guarantee that typical kdrama fans will not like it. Don't get me wrong it's a good film and the book it's based on has had many adaptations already but it's not for the masses definitely not for typical netflix kdrama fans who love my demon and KTL(no disrespect). Both jcw and sjy will probably end up getting more hate than praise. I mean they can change many things but then some people will say they didn't stay true to book/movie. Jcw is most probably not doing this(i wonder why no response still) but if he agrees to do this I really hope that the script can do justice do all these top stars. Like it should not be that MDS gets all the limelight. I guess best case scenario will be thats mds and jcw lead the hero side with others getting required time and phs is the villain. It should be an ensemble performance

Nah, they did tons of promo for litc and sound of magic and all those have millions of views. There wasn't much promo for wts but many clips.

The problem is that netflix originals are shit nowadays. And maybe they don't want to invest in long dramas. I guess best platforms nowadays are paid networks like jtbc and tvn. K2 was a tvn drama and WTS was a jtbc hit. These are mostly picked by netflix anyways

I don't care what anyone says but i am tired of disney plus..it's a very boring platform in my opinion. Of course I have bought the subscription for JCW but i don't like it at all. Whether good or bad there is always buzz around netflix shows.I think the worst case will be that we don't see jcw at all in netflix for many years (which is very possible). If he ever comes up with a romance/romcom in near future i really hope it won't be on disney plus. Even an average romcom becomes global hit on netflix
