Love both the ML and FL characters! They trust and respect each other. So refreshing to see 100% trust each other with no misunderstanding.

Su Heng is so annoying. I hate it when sml is still so pushy even after the FL told him he didn't have a chance. This is the most annoying and know-it-all character in this whole drama. I didn't even find the villains as annoying.

Also I find the main leads have no chemistry. They didn't seem comfortable with each other, not even in the end when they were supposed to be married for 10 years. They were so polite and shy, like first dating.

This was quite a boring drama when it was only 14 episodes. They were 28 when they first got married. So after 6 years, they've never discussed children and just made assumptions?? so nothing has changed and they don't communicate just like before. The production is really cheap. They were wearing the same clothes, same hairstyle, same looks in 10 years time (at the end) when they were close to 40. At least put a bit of effort to make them look older.

It bothers me more when the ML did nothing when he was jealous of the SML. He was so passive and didn't even try to talk to the FL to find out if she likes SML. At least the FL tried to talk to him but was interrupted or misunderstood what he said. And when she terminates the contract, he didn't try at all to talk her out of it but readily agreed to it. If I was the FL, I would think he has was not interested in her at all.

I'm on episode 10 and I'm really enjoying the FL character - clever, feisty and innocent at the same time.

Some people have bad memories. I'm one of them. She didn't actually forget his face. She recognized him at first glance but he changed his name and didn't acknowledge her so she wasn't sure.

I have low expectation for the kiss scene. The 2nd lead couple kissing scene was terrible.

I still think ZJM looks better with Leo Wu. ZLH is too tall. He looks like he's a foot taller than ZJM.

IKR those flashbacks were so unnecessary. I get why people were mad since the director really go easy on all the villains. Not one of them had a satisfactory ending. Tying to save SRQ from the fire? really now. The princess was part of the rebellion and she got off freely, not even locked up and the fake prince roaming around. I think the production really screwed up the ending by portraying the leads too nice and forgiving. And good thing, they had that extra episode because they didn't even show the kids at end of episode 40 after 3 years. Imagine the outrage if they just end it at episode 40.

Yeah I would have rated it higher if it wasn't for that long 20 mins of SRQ time trying to redeem all his bad actions and the overdramatic death playing the musical instrument and dying by fire. If LR just told him he was an idiot for wasting his 2nd chance at life and to rot in hell for what he did, I would have rated it a 10.

This was 33 episodes? I thought it was 24 lol. I put it on hold at episode 8. How can they have 33 episodes with no plot?

I finally completed the last 6 episodes after weeks of hesitation due to the outrage of comments regarding SRQ screen time. Actually I didn't find that he has that many scenes since there were all necessary to explain what happened to their 1st lives and he was involved with the rebellion at the end. The only unnecessary part was on the last episode. I did find that annoying and totally unnecessary to give him 15-20 mins to explain his reasons for doing what he did (totally didn't buy it). They showed him way too much consideration given all his evil deeds and all. One thing that didn't sit well with me at all was him telling her he wish they had children together but unfortunately, he was castrated. No need to put that in at all. Did not need the image in my head that they were being intimate in previous life. Also the emperor was actually the true baddie here and I think he was let off too easily. The way he treated his family, he should just die alone. On a positive note, PWX was great. He was calm, level headed and saved the day so not sure why everyone was calling him 2nd lead. I was expecting him to only have 5 mins of screen time, the way people were talking about him not doing anything. I actually like him here more than SOKP. Overall, I think it was a great watch and entertaining 8/10.

I don't remember seeing him cook for her but she cooked for him a few times and waited up for him. Then she is a simp for him too.

I watched the trailer and I was thinking there was no kiss scene. They usually put some kissing scenes to attract audiences. I guess you confirmed there is none.

Faka is not any better. Sounds like faker. Many people use a stage name and not their birth name. Just saying if we search Li Yi Tong, the way more famous one is going to show up and she will be in the shadow.
