I think the biggest villain is the emperor. He knows exactly what the princes are like but he chooses to close his eyes and do nothing. He has been sick for awhile and can die anytime but just let the people rot because he didn't care about the future.

Is it just me or Hu Yi Tian always plays the high school student and feels like he never aged .
I think he aged quite a bit from A Love so beautiful and it's understandable since that was a decade ago. He can no longer can pull off HS student.
