Akk is the ONE

What kept me watching this mediocre series was just one thing: Akk.

First of all, i felt like the plot was almost nonsensical, i disliked almost every bit of it, except for the scenes that included Akk. Almost every character was cringe or barely good enough to make me feel something... But Akk. Oh, Akk.

Force is an incredibly talented actor and he impersonated Akk's character amazingly. He made me smile a lot and have butterflies in my stomach, the character himself was the sweetest thing: he was funny, loyal and charming. I hope to see Force's future works soon, since he was so good in this series. He was the only one who saved it for me, otherwise i would have probably dropped it.

Anyway, if you're okay with a light series with a lot of cute scenes that Akk gifted us, go watch it!

Watch all the 4 seasons to be surprised! Ps male lead stole my heart

I think this season was like a pilot and didn't really have a developed script. Even the fact that the episodes are 3 minutes long, makes it really superficial.

But if you watch the whole seasons, you might be surprised like I was: the script and the incredible actors made it so worth it!

Amazing cast, cute protagonists and interesting developments and relationships, with both suspense and funny moments, made this series really enjoyable for me.
Give it a try!

PS. Choi Hyun Wook was SO GOOD being the male lead, I couldn't believe he was just a rookie actor. His detailed expressions were very natural and his eyes were so expressive that they got to my heart. I will look forward to his future roles!

"Light" story that actors and script made realistic, funny and even deep! Male lead stole my heart

4th and last season. There is something about this series...that really lingers in me. I mean, being a web series I didn't have high expectations, so it really surprised me!

I want to higilight the TALENT of the cast: they were absolutely amazing, and they are young rookie actors! Choi Hyun Wook was exceptional as the main lead, every little expression of his was so natural and on point, and his expressive eyes made me feel a lot of emotions. He really, really made himself a place in my heart. I personally loved his character, Ye Chan: funny, clumsy, cute, a loyal friend, yet sometimes cool and irresistible.
(ps go see him in his other roles, i really liked his character in Racket Boys. I really look forward to his future roles!)

The female protagonist had a very funny and unique personality, I liked her. The actress was very good at being goofy without being too much.
Those two and every other character was well-made and had a development. I enjoyed watching them, they were like real people.

It was a story about feelings and about relationships. Even though it was a "light" drama, it got me interested till the end.
If you want to watch an easy story, but that still has worth, you can try this!

Overall this drama made me feel lots of things... suspense, heartthrob, trepidation, cute fluffy feelings and last but not least, it made me smile.

Underrated!

I wasn't sure about the plot at the beginning, but i changed my mind after a while: with my surprise, I found it quite refreshing and interesting.
What really got me, is that there are some heartwarming scenes that really touched my heart, with deep meaning and wise life lessons.
I'm still amazed by the beautiful way they portrayed delicate topics in some scenes... Insecurity, discovering one true self, accepting it, fighting for your dream, facing obstacles, fear, courage...
Also, I was so excited about watching a drama that talked about homosexuality, which is still a topic rarely shown in Korea.

I think the caracters were very realistic, with complicated emotions and flaws, not perfect characters, but normal humans. The more episodes i watched, the more i grew fond of them. I really enjoyed the slow relationships formed between them.
Episode 5 was a little gem, just saying.

I think the directing was unique and beautiful, and the music was very pleasant and on point.

Almost every character grew and matured in different ways.
I loved the acting of the main ones.
Jung Il Woo: i already knew and appreciated him, and i think he showed great acting in this drama too. But i have to say, a character that i really loved was Kang Tae Wan, both for the personality and the actor, who did an amazing job.

Even though in my heart i was ready to ship the male lead with another character (you'll figure it out), i know it's still something portrayed quite recently in Korea, so i accepted it and understood that it was not meant to be.
The 2 protagonists clicked anyway and were really cute together (i actually quite liked her).
I was drawn to how their feelings for each other grew slowly, but inevitably (some scenes made my heart beat faster, thanks to the dialogues, the camera work and the choice of music, applause for that).

*LITTLE SPOILER*
Even though the main protagonist made a mistake by pretending to be gay (also, for too much time), i don't wholly condemn him for that: it showed clearly that it was because he wanted desperately to help his family, and later on he wanted to confess the truth, but couldn't because he wanted to help Ah Jin. It was a problem, but he didnt want to hurt anybody.
He was well aware of his wrong doings, and later on he started to hate himself because of them.
I think telling the truth knowing you will hurt those you care about, is one of the hardest things to do in life.
*END OF SPOILER*

In this drama the fact that the protagonist put himself in complicated situations, making the wrong decisions, just showed what a mess life is sometimes, and i liked that. The different developments were good to see.

Another thing i wanted to say is: the main lead defending gay rights at the beginning with emphasis was because of his gay brother, he spoke also having him in mind: he certainly loved him and cared for him, that's why he sounded so passionate at the beginning, at least i think this way.

Overall, it's a nice, well made, interesting drama.

The actors pierced my heart!

What to say, this drama was actually quite good. The story kept me going, it was particular, one of those shows full of drama, secrets, misunderstandings and obstacles (there was a bit of cringe sometimes, but not the worst).

The actors were incredibly good at portraying deep emotions (especially the trio of friends) as fear, desperation, sadness, pain.
Do Hwan was extremely good, his eyes were so expressive... My heart melt and hurt when seeing him (not to mention his versatility, he could be both very sensual and extremely cute).

Joy's acting was decent, her characher had some flaws (just like every character) but it was a good one overall, strong when needed.

I liked the characters and their development, the way they were hurt so much that they sometimes went a little bit insane, building walls between them and others. Their relationships were very interesting, complex and deep.

Finally, I was moved by how love was portrayed as a potential cure and a source of strength, of wanting to be a better person.

Delicate, simple and funny... Yet touching and deep.

This is a story about life.

From the small things, to the big events, it's all shown in a simple way, just as it is. Sometimes slow, sometimes incredibly fast, and it's somehow relatable, because it's about emotions and concerns we all experience in some way, at some time in our lives.
Sadness, insecurities, hardships, fear, longing, regret, foolishness, maturity, growth, joy, nostalgia, comfort, gratitude.

I think this is a drama that teaches something important: find meaning in the small things in life. Every caring word and act has meaning and they have more value that what we may think for a moment.
It also teaches that family is not only the one of blood, family is the people who know you, stay with you and care for you no matter what.
I really loved the heartwarming friendship and incredible bonds between people shown in this drama, it was a joy to see, and i loved every character, whom I grew fond of.
Also, the cast for this drama was truly amazing.

Anyway, this show conveyed to me something precious: live to the fullest, cry sometimes, don't miss too many chances, be brave, enjoy life and say "I love you" to your important persons.
Finally, it reminded me, once again, that friendship is one of the greatest treasures in life.

What to say, I am amazed. This drama had everything.

It is incredible how it went from having a joyful, funny tone, to a darker, more seriuos and intense one. I was drawn by the plot and fell deeply into the story.

Some scenes caused me to laugh really hard, some scenes made me cry, some made me feel shivers down my spine and arms, some gave me fluffy feelings and some made my heart tremble. (the love scenes were just SO GOOD).

Suspense, plot twists, inspiring quotes and actions, as well as fluttering, cute, sweet, funny, hilarious moments created a perfect ensemble.
It also had beautiful themes like hardships, determination, friendship, love, loyalty.

I also really want to point out the phenomenal acting. THE CHEMISTRY really got me. At one moment I remember suddenly thinking "Wait a minute.. This is actually acting?" because they were so good that I forgot they were actors and not the true characters. They did and impressive job. And they depicted every character genuinely.
I didn't just grow fond of them... Seeing their bonds and how they develop and grow really touched me.
It had a lot of beautiful meanings.
Adding also the directing, every scene and different atmosphere were done very nicely.

In conclusion, it's one of the very few dramas that even though have an ending that doesn't really satisfy me, remain some of my absolute favorites.
It stuck with me still now...

I wish a beautiful "No touching" to everybody ;)
