I've also seen people say that the series lacks tension compared to the trailer, but I think they're judging it too early. Right now, the story isn't focused on tension; it's focused on growing feelings and the realization that those feelings exist in the first place. Barth and Tanrak are still getting to know each other, becoming comfortable around each other, and slowly recognizing that their connection is becoming something more than friendship.

The tension shown in the trailer isn't gone. Stories need time to build toward those moments, and I think these early episodes are intentionally starting from a place of innocence and warmth before moving into the more emotionally complicated parts of the relationship. The later tension will have much more impact because we've already seen the foundation of their bond, and in Episode 2 we got a glimpse of the coming moments that will appear in Episode 3, where Tanrak may confront his growing desire.

If the series started with constant angst, conflict, and dramatic romantic tension from episode two, it wouldn't feel nearly as earned. Right now, we're watching the beginning of their story, the stage where feelings are developing and neither of them fully understands what those feelings mean yet. The tension comes later, but the groundwork has to be laid first. Fourth himself said feelings will only rise in coming episodes. So, don’t judge it early

Sorry guys, for not hyperventilating and being all philosophical about this series, but they could have done a…
I respect your opinion, and I agree that everyone experiences media differently, but I think some of the things you're criticizing were actually intentional choices by the writers and directors.
For example, I don't think the OST montage was simply there to promote the song. Throughout the episode, that track is closely associated with Tanrak, and the montage serves as a subtle way of showing Barth and Tanrak growing closer. Rather than relying on obvious romantic moments, the series chooses to show their developing relationship through shared experiences, comfort, and familiarity. The montage isn't separate from the story; it's part of the storytelling.
Regarding Tanrak's personality, I think his reserved nature makes sense when you consider his background. He lost both of his parents at a young age and was raised in a restrictive religious environment where he was taught to remain calm, self controlled, and faithful. His tendency to suppress emotions isn't necessarily a sign that he's annoyed or uninterested; it's a reflection of how he was raised. When Barth enters his life, he's forced to confront feelings and desires that challenge everything he's been taught.
I also think many of Tanrak's jokes are meant to show the gradual development of his friendship with Barth. His comments often come across as sarcastic, playful, and lighthearted, especially when he teases Barth about their closeness or the situations they find themselves in. To me, those moments don't feel cold or dismissive; they feel like the natural banter that develops when two people become more comfortable around each other. It's a subtle way of showing Tanrak opening up and allowing someone into his life, which is significant considering how guarded and structured his upbringing has made him.
As for the chemistry, I think that's where we simply differ. I don't see their relationship as passionate in an immediate or dramatic way. Instead, it's built through lingering looks, small gestures, brief touches, and quiet moments. To me, that slower and more restrained approach fits both Tanrak's character and the overall tone of the series. Fourth's performance especially stands out because he portrays someone who is trying to remain composed while gradually becoming more emotionally vulnerable. The conflict isn't always expressed through dramatic reactions, but through subtle changes in his behavior and expressions as he grows closer to Barth.

This show is supposed to leverage Gemini and Fourth's onscreen chemistry and reputation after the disaster that…
I believe that Gemini is more into the singing aspect of being an idol, and fourth is more into the acting part of it. But, I still believe that they are both good in all categories, more in others. I don’t feel like My Love Mixup itself was bad, it was all the sponsorships that created a double edged sword with geminifourths popularity. I saw all the scene they had to cut out because of time and sponsorships, and i swear it would have been so much better with less or none sponsorships. And I feel like the fluffy kind of romance that Gemfot are accustomed to show grow into more serious topics such as this, I believe this is a perfect opportunity to get geminifourth out of the light of typical high school romance, and into something more serious, like moonlight chicken. I believe that they have so much potential with this series, and I can see many awards coming their way soon when tackling something so controversial, but still someone a lot of people go through even in todays world.

Soo this is just a follow-up on my question below about if Gemini and Prim are going to be playing a couple in…
And by the way, to those people who are saying Gemini and Fourth are likely to disband their couple, let’s bffr. Gemini and Fourth are one of the most popular and money generating couples there are in GMMTV. Their couple having 2 concerts for themselves in big stadiums, the amount of couple and single awards they get are astounding. I would’ve believed GeminiFourth may be disbanding their onscreen couple if they both didn’t want to anymore, but both Gemini and Fourth still are eager to work together and participate in series together as a couple. So no, just because they don’t have a series this year doesn’t mean they won’t ever in the future. GMMTV gains a lot by having GeminiFourth and GeminiFourth love to work together, so no, it’s highly unlikely they’ll ever separate.

Soo this is just a follow-up on my question below about if Gemini and Prim are going to be playing a couple in the series, and after seeing recent promotion for the series I’m pretty sure they’re gonna be portrayed that way. 😅 I still love both of them, but I feel like both parties may get hate and to that I say, is very dumb. Because I’ve seen this before happening, like Phuwin’s new series just recently playing with an actress. I’ve seen hate being shared to the actress that she’s seperating PondPhuwin. But, the truth is that they’re actors and they deserve to discover other roles aside from BL media. I just hope that this doesn’t happen to Gemini and Prim, even thought I already know some fans might haha. 🥹 I love GeminiFourth but I love that they’re both going out of their comfort zones for their separate series. Love both of them and I love Prim. Su Su, Cant wait!! 💗💗

Heyy!! So, I’ve been meaning to ask, is a sub-plot of this drama going to be GeminiPrim? Like are they going to be seen in a romantic scene; where they are going to be in a relationship, kiss, etc in the series. This is not toxic BL fan behavior or anything, I was just been meaning to ask because Prim’s character saves Gemini’s character from harassment in the Trailer and I can’t tell if they are going to be portrayed romantically or in just a duo way. Need answers haha, been questioning this since the trailer came out and idk if I’m dumb.
