It will come back to the same argument like " its legal we can't condemn a man acting within his rights to have a relationship with a person legally eligible of giving consent. A 31 year old person dating another 43 year old person is not the same as a 31 year old dating a 19 year old. Even if we were to forget the "Friendship" during teenage years when the man was late twenties near 30s. Why can't this man befriend people his own age than 16 year old girl and then start dating when they turn legal(According to him anyway)? If you don't find that problematic and are going to say 18 is legal then I do not have anything else to say to you.

There is no need to name call or age shame but still giving you a benefit of doubt. May be you are some really young person who thinks calling someone a granny is an insult.
Its not Victorian sense of propriety to call a man in 30s dating a teenage girl as shameful. If his acts are morally dubious to people, they will of course not have a good opinion of him. Just because his career depends on such good opinions and image, are we supposed to forget everything and applaud him that he was dating teenagers.

About the middle ages - they would've been ok with even marrying a 19 year old, even a 16 year old. Now that this is not the middle ages and the modern times, hopefully we are wiser and don't encourage such medieval practices.
The reporter and her parents are shady but that doesn't exempt ksh.
