LOL I am watching M9 Season 2 only at the moment. I put the Betrothal drama on hold.

Despite the plotholes and the extraneous tomb filler and flashbacks, the drama was entertaining. The casting was perfect, and the theme song was hot. 🔥

I miss Zhang Ming En/Lt Zhang and Zhao Li Ying.

He was too cute with the dimple. My mother's maiden name was Chan, so I called him my distant relative. 🤣🤣🤣

I watched a few of his earlier acting jobs, and Fo Ye really propelled him into leading man status.

LOL Ten years since the first Mystic Nine! That's a long wait for a sequel, and the same stars returned, more or less. William Chan, Hanson Ying and Chen Pi actor reprised their roles. I am not sure about some of the Gates. Three other important actors did not return; Zhang Yixing, Zhao Yi Ling, Zhang Ming En.

It might be in the first episode of Mystic Nine Season 1. When you have time, you could look for it. Ba Ye was kidnapped and was hanging up in the rafters in a warehouse. Fo Ye came in, and kicked everyone's @$$. It's been ten years since I saw it, and I never forgot the scene. He should be a Marvel superhero.

That Season 1 scene made the million plus viewers join the Fo Ye Fan Club.

LOL There are still seventeen episodes to go. He might get the opportunity to cry on screen.

Especially since Fo Y rescued Ba Ye in episode 13. Ba Ye is now Fo Ye's disciple for life.

That was an impressive fight scene in episode 13. Fo Ye vs a few dozen bandit thugs. LOL

I can understand the confusion with the drama title. You were looking for Season 2, and Season 1 popped up. I read that Season 2 will be available in three days on VIKI. When I am Googling Season 2, both dramas are popping up. I have to read the descriptions, to find the right one.

LOL I thought they were warming up toward each other in the tomb, then I read a comment that they had a lifelong feud with each other.

Joseph Zeng and Hanson Ying (Ying Hao Ming) could play siblings. They have similar features.

I started watching Archives... late night, and got scared. So I put it back on the Watchlist, and forgot about it. 😁😁😁

I suppose he has to act like that to maintain his Number 1 Gate status. The Gates behind him, might be ready to takeover at any time, except for Gate Number 8, Ba Ye. 😂😂
