Episodes 24 and 25 were complete filler. And what was that ending in 25? Did she really do that?? The person who helped her was her husband, not her wannabe lover. I’m so disappointed. I just don’t understand her. Why is it taking her so long to forgive him? Honestly, I don’t even see what there is to forgive. They both lied, and I can kind of understand why he didn’t believe her that night she confessed—he thought it was just another one of her scheme. And let's not forget about her sister who didn't even bother to tell Yi Ming her ex is working there. If it were the other way around I can't even imagine.
It's a Cdrama, so the FL is always right and has her reasons for doing wrong. But the MLs are always evil, and…
You’re absolutely right. Lately, most C-dramas and K-dramas follow this same pattern — the FL is completely focused on her career, while the ML ends up feeling secondary. I always skip the career-related scenes because I don't care about FL's career. That'not why I watch romance shows. What I really want to see is the couple — their relationship, love, and mutual support.
In Love’s Ambition, the writers repeat this formula again. The FL is all about her career (which isn’t even that “independent,” since she received advice and financial help from Jiang Liang — who clearly wants to sleep with her. She is aware of this but because she’s the FL, it’s portrayed as perfectly fine for her to accept his help.) Meanwhile it takes her forever to forgive the ML. Frankly as both are liars I don't see what is there to forgive. Maybe his “big mistake” was not believing her confession that night just because she said so— but honestly, considering how manipulative she had been, it’s understandable that he couldn’t trust her in that moment.
The show was an absolute mess. I enjoyed the presence of the ML and FL, but that’s pretty much all. The script had potential, but the decision to go with a parody style turned it into chaos. I ended up skipping over half of it, and the ending still felt like it took forever to arrive.
Thanks for this info. I was so excited to watch this show and now I'm glad I waited for the end before starting. I guess I will have to skip it. Don't like open endings😢.
lmao 3 episodes on a cooking competition nobody cared about, to move the plot forward on the 11th episode and…
That cooking competition was pointless—I ended up skipping most of it. Episodes 6 through the middle of 9 felt like pure filler basically nothing happening for nearly half the show
Ep. 7 and 8 were a bit of a letdown 😢. I ended up skipping most of them. Ep 1 and 2 were amazing, 3 and 4 were ok, but after that, the disappointment set in. Ep 8 is the definition of filler and dragging things out. Too many episodes were wasted on that competition.
After finishing the finale, I can easily say this is now my favorite historical C-drama. Everything was so satisfying—the chemistry/love between the leads was off the charts.🥰 Interesting plot, beautiful soundtrack, good action, some mystery. 😍
EP 1-3 were so good, ep. 4 was amazing and peak, but things started to decline after that. Men bad, women good no matter what. Too much feminism is going to destroy kdramas. 😭
Wait... what even is that episode 12 synopsis? 😢 This show fell off after episode 6. The first half was amazing, but the second half just ruined everything and makes zero sense.
Didn't they say Bong Su killed 99 people? That’s what I gathered from the first six episodes—so why is everyone acting so casual about him? Anyway it doesn’t matter anymore. The show went a little bit downhill after ep. 6. 😢. I hope for a happy ending.
But that would have been trying to cram too much in the episode and it would have felt choppy with unnecessary…
It could’ve been so much more fulfilling. But now, I just want to erase this drama from my memory 😢. I don’t watch K-dramas to see endless career-focused plots, especially during the last episoade That’s not what I care about. My taste. For example, instead of showing a 32-year-old woman arguing with 20-year-olds, they could’ve given us a wedding and a baby mentioning she is a well-established psychologist.
Kinda disappointed with how this ended. Can we please bring back the classic K-drama endings with weddings, babies and beautiful fulfilling love between the leads? Mi Ji stayed in that room for 3 years thinking Ho Su loved her sister, and now at 32–33, she tells him to wait while she focuses on her career? Ugh. I get the whole independence thing, but it just felt too much. She could’ve chased her dreams while being his wife. Another disappointement Mi Rae /Sejin couple.
In the end the ML accomplished nothing. The way the scenes were edited, I'm sure Taeyun's death was ordered by Yeom from prison😡. Yeom will be back. He must have money ML didn't know about.
