All in all, I really liked the movie . ( It reminded me of Happiness. When in dire danger, humans show their "true colors"!) And the last seconds! Wow! As expected, nothing is over! It just begins!

I really liked the beginning of this drama, but there are things that really bother me. First,, how is it possible that she has absolutely no memory of rehearsing a movie scene with her assistant? Sure, she might have forgotten some details, but when seeing the video where she’s accused of bullying the girl, how can she not recall that it was a scene filmed with the girl's consent—a scene where she was rehearsing? Secondly, it’s really annoying how, at some point in these dramas, one of the main characters always drifts away or the leads get into a fight. What’s the point? We know they’re going to end up together anyway. And honestly, it’s so selfish to leave your partner all alone—especially listening to the messages she leaves, filled with a mix of anger and despair. It all feels so contrived and tedious; these are scenes we see in so many dramas—it just lacks originality.

This is the first BL I ever watched. I didn't even know it was that kind of series till... well you know! I must admit I was hooked. The acting was good . I hope to see these actors in more dramas, not only just in BL.

BUT where we disagree is that you always try to consider the facts in a light favorable to KSH : you’re like a defense attorney trying to defend him TOOTH AND NAIL whereas me, based on the facts and circumstantial evidences, who, in my opinion, are more than enough, I don't want to find him excuses.I believe he isn't worth anyone's attention. I’d prefer he simply fade into obscurity; in any case, if he appears in new dramas, I won't be able to watch them—physically, I just couldn't—because behind every character he would try to play, I’d see the man he really is: a self-important hypocrite who thinks only of himself—his reputation, his money; in short, someone I can only describe as despicable. I never said he directly caused the deaths of those two young women; I’m simply saying he should have cared about their distress and tried to help them—especially Kim Sae-ron, since she had left her agency to join his and he was her "sunbae," a role that entailed a moral duty to support and assist her in any situation. Yet, he chose to abandon her and act as if he didn’t know her, all to protect his financial interests and his reputation. That is what makes him a despicable person. Furthermore, as I pointed out, it wasn’t the accusation of corrupting a minor—or anything of that sort—that changed my opinion of this actor; it was purely and simply his own behavior and the things he said, time and time again.

Well, since you enjoy reading, I’ll give you some more informations. 1 No, I’m not lying.2 I leave no stone unturned. 3 I forge my own opinion about things, events and people without following the trend.
I discovered Korean series in june 2022 thanks to the drama *Extraordinary Attorney Woo*; it was a Netflix suggestion after I watched the American series *The Lincoln Lawyer*. I loved that Korean drama so much that I immediately tried to find other series, starting with those featuring Park Eun-bin because I thought she was brilliant. Then I followed other Netflix recommendations and, naturally, came across *My Love from the Star*—which I loved, just like everyone else. I kept watching more of Kim Soo Hyun series, but when I ran out of options on Netflix, I looked on other platforms and discovered he had also starred in movies. So, I watched *Secretly, Greatly*—where he plays a North Korean agent undercover in South Korea—which I also enjoyed overall, and I finally came across the movie *Real*.
I started watching it , and I was truly shocked , because it was far from his other « cute » caracters . I wondered—since it was a soft-core porn film—how an actor as famous and respected as Kim Soo-hyun could agree to star in such a movie. I can understand very young actors trying to make a living having no other choice but to do films like that, but for an already famous actor, I just didn't get it. Furthermore, as I dug deeper—leaving no stone unturned—I discovered that the film was produced by his cousin. They had asked several actresses to star in it, but most refused—which was already quite strange. ( I understood why they possibly refused when I searched deeper, I saw videos of him were his interractions with young co stars actresses were really weird.) ; they had fired the director because things weren't going the way they wanted. So, this was a film KSH actively wanted to make, not one he had stumbled into by accident. Incidentally, the movie was a total flop; critics panned it as pretentious and bizarre. Yet, who took the blame? It wasn't KSH—who had quietly left for military service—but the poor actress, Sulli. She was criticized for filming nude scenes—even though she obviously hadn't filmed them alone—yet no one criticized KSH; only the poor actress received the hateful comments. And what did Kim Soo-hyun do? He could have defended her and said, "Look, we were both in those scenes together." No, he said absolutely nothing; he just let it go. And , after all the hate spewed by internet users, she ended up taking her own life...I was disturbed when I discovered that.
Then, I remember perfectly well seeing a photo—back in 2024— of KSH kissing this other young actress, KSR, on the cheek ; It was KSR herself who had posted it, without any comment. It seemed innocent enough, but I wondered, "What's going on here?
Why is she doing that?" That was just before KSH began promoting his new drama *Queen of Tears*, and of course I thought to myself, "Something fishy is going on here; that girl isn't doing well—is the same thing going to happen to her as it happened to Sulli?" And sure enough, that’s exactly what happened: she committed suicide too and on KSH's birthday, of all days... Do you think it was a coincidence? Even though she had clearly asked him for help, he didn't lift a finger; he even had the nerve to say he didn't know her at all—that he’d never had any relationship with her... What a liar ! He only admitted it – half-heartedly - when he could no longer clearly claim otherwise—the evidence was simply too undeniable. So, what shocks me about this man's behavior is not so much the fact that that he might have had relations with a minor but rather the fact that he despises women; he uses them, and when they're in deep trouble, he abandons them. He is a very selfish and disgusting man.
That’s why, when I tried watching his drama *Queen of Tears*, nothing felt right to me; I could see the real man behind the cute character , and everything seemed fake and off-putting—so even though everyone else thought the drama was brilliant, I couldn't enjoy it at all.

I'm on episode 9, and the character played by the lead actress is really boring me. Why is she so annoying? Why is she so picky, and most of all, why do the writers always make problems pop up out of nowhere when there shouldn't be any?

I think we should avoid generalizations; Westerners don’t have a monopoly on intelligence, and neither do Asians. We should always think things through and avoid stigmatizing people from any part of the world.

Ah! Ah! Inspector Maigret, In fact I see that we are very much alike... on certain points... I, too, like to get to the bottom of things—in fact, as I often say, I "I leave no stone unturned." Oh, and for those who imagine I now dislike him because of the Kim Sae-ron scandal and the things reported in certain online outlets or You Tube channels in 2025, here is what I have to say: I was a fan of Kim Soo-hyun until 2017. Then, I happened to find his movie *Real* and was so shocked that I dug deeper. By piecing things together myself—watching videos where he was with his very young female co-stars (while filming Moon embracing the sun for example), or hearing his comments about women, or his remarks about his future marriage when he would be more than 40 with a girl of 21years old ( who would have been still in kindergarten at the time of the TV show)—I became deeply disgusted . I didn't need anyone to point out who he was or anything like that; I formed my own opinion Period.

I love their way of thinking; I love the respect that’s an integral part of their society. I agree with you—today’s K-dramas, especially those produced by Netflix and Disney, are too Westernized; I don’t like that. I don’t like the sex scenes, the nudity, or scenes where women are in degrading situations—I hate that kind of thing. That’s actually why I’d given up on Western series entirely. However, just because I’m a Westerner doesn’t mean I’m completely brainless. I’d like K-dramas to be longer, like they used to be, which allowed for in-depth character development, the evolution of emotions, and the creation of more complex plots. (Ah, I don’t like everything about older K-dramas, though—especially their sometimes scatological humor. It doesn’t make me laugh at all and can make me feel uncomfortable.)
Some people have given up on K-dramas, saying they’ve become too Westernized, and are turning to Chinese or Japanese dramas instead; however, I remain loyal to K-dramas because I’m learning Korean and I love the sound of the language.

This series just keeps getting better. Episodes 9 and 10 are truly excellent, and I really appreciate the fact that Chi Yeon—who seemed jealous and could have become an antagonist—is now proving that he’s actually a good person.
