Yesssssssss especially WQ was a homophobe himself....like i understand that but suddenly he is like initiating the making out and stuff like when did he catch feelings 😂....author served us nothing....by the end she was like okay now i gotta write 30 pages of romance so that i can give what i promised but really what she cared about were the fucking side characters....like good lord i dont give a fuck if the grandma is alive or not....kill all the side characters and give us some romance for god's sake 😭

Yes yes yes yes my thoughts exactly 😂.....i was literally waiting to hear about WQ's side.....but his reciprocation of feelings seemed a bit unnatural cuz he really seemed to have no interest at all. The author just fed us crumbs in the name of relationship. I really didn't care which side character died or whatever....i wasn't interested at all. The love story could have been sooooooo much better....thank god the drama is interpreting it right.

Thats what i was thinking about Wei Qian. The book gives a very cold hearted description of him but in the drama he has a warm heart. I like the drama version of him. The author dragged it too much honestly....she could have given us a better love story....could have written so much more but really i had to read about some uninteresting dull characters for god knows how many chapters. The author is really good with her words describing the feelings of the characters but really this book is just wasted potential in my eyes. I mean there r parts i really liked but there r parts that were just unbearable. What do u think
