Oh hoho, if as FYX says by actually shooting FSG on the battlefield she saved him and his army from being ambushed and crushed by XJS..........wow he's gonna owe her one hell of an apology for kicking her around the room. Think another 50 lashes and several more bites might be in order 😂
Ok the plot is really thickening now with twists and the ultimate baddie emerging.......Now why does the ultimate villain need her to die so desperately - is there a personal vendetta or he's just scared she will remember his identity? Hope the plotline doesn't collapse or develop holes moving forward.
The FL is really fit as female general. First time watching her drama and found out she’s much older than ML,…
You can check out her earlier work, Song of Glory, where she’s a kickass jianghu heroine on a revenge mission. Very fierce there too and more importantly retained all her wits about her till the very end of the drama.
FSG makes a very good point when he asks why hasn’t your precious prince come to look for you yet……everything still pointing to him and/or XWR as the shooter. But is it really going to be so obvious?
Every lash, every bite, recorded and repaid…….
Actually their interaction reminded me of something and then I remembered we’ve seen a similar type and level of violence between Brad and Angelina in Mr and Mrs Smith though perhaps without the tenacious biting and dripping blood……
Big sigh was it really necessary to drag out the last few episodes with such a tropey "2nd male lead goes delulu obsessive" plotline? If they couldn't figure out what to do they should have just ended it with a nice wedding scene.
In this case I definitely prefer the ending in the novel, which though it involved the deaths of some side characters was acceptable as a commentary on war and its inevitable consequences. The Chu Zhao in the novel did not go off the bend and remained in cynical character. Bad bad decision to fall back on tired old plot of misplaced obsessive infatuation which added absolutely nothing to the story.
