Exactly..it may be a huge plus, she could invest it in other things, i noticed that she already has some scenes with background actors..it helps with world building..p1lus CGI..i don't suffer like some or many, ooh where are the bigger names? Just cast talented actors, famous or not. That 19y old kid who plays Feng Ya, enrolled last year at the Beijing Fim Academy, highly ranked on the entrance exam. Rui was playing in theater, and i wish if he had been spotted earlier..he debuted later than this kid, and look how good Rui was, tho totally unknown..

Me too. Iβve watched almost all his work and never dropped any. Even with some flaws he has the skill to pull you into his world...nd yep it's a slower, more char focused world building, some complain abt...but it works for me.. Some scenes from Yin Yang Master I replayed over and over...they were breathtaking...just the world itself.
I think her This young hero is a little cold.. put her on the map, that this one had a huge number of views. Sheβs been doing short dramas, i jumped through a few on YT just to get a sense.
And yeah..she seems to have a similar eye for aesthetics as gjm...simpler colors, but not too dark, just a few shades. I also noticed she likes closer shots, like him...at least from what I saw..
Most of her dramas are romance, i think, not sure...if not all ...and as a short(er) format... it usually signals too cringe for meβ¦ or Iβm just biased π ..

Yep, not too small either..i think she uses it smartly..I've seen what a smaller budget can do when i watched Butterflied Lovers..it looked better to me visually then some S dramas.. That video had SGI that isn't expensive to make..the costly stuff would be something like that white tiger moving around..or flying scenes and its complex backgrounds. I havenβt seen wires yet tho...looks like she chose to focus more on hand seal movements..
