No one knows. It's the original script....the director is known to kill or separate the protagonist (s) or to make a bittersweet ending on his shiny days...so happiness is not to be counted on.. Still great to watch. With this one my bet is on bittersweet..

I saw him more in the opening scenes on Youku..saw him and Jiling,
the comedy duo...😁 wanted to see him more in the trailers... they had very quick shots of him..

Watched the trailers several times and the opening scenes on Youku… I still can’t believe that just a few days ago we were already feeling hopeless... thinking April was slipping away and now I don’t even know where to look, they’re dropping so much material.
The 3-minute trailers are packed with scenes, but GJM is still keeping so much under the veil, just like he did with the reuters....giving us the middle finger with that “clarity is overrated” vibe.

I still don’t get who Long Shen is. Even tho I was prepared...digging through my memory folders full of seen leaks, hoping the trailer scenes would help me to connect all the dots and give me a clearer picture… nope. It’s still as blurry as ever, and now I have even more questions. Still not clear who’s with whom....what i saw was the mains going on a killing spree and in between outsmarting or trying to kill each other... they take a few minutes breaks for love stories...

I was amazed by the time travel scenes...esp that first one with jjy among what looks like shattered mirrors, followed by that amazing music....something you’d expect in a sci-fi movie. I guess GJM is showing again that he prefers to do things differently, and I’m glad we won’t get just another generic drama.

The opening scenes with teen Jiling gave me a "smart kid" vibe. It made me wonder if we were right...that he’s actually a mastermind playing naive. But then LWY shattered that by saying “he’s stupid”…We’ll see 😭😁

One of my favorite leaked scenes of LS crying bloody tears made it into the trailer.....and wow…🤯 it was as powerful as I thought. 👌 Now I know what he’s saying, but I’m even more puzzled about his character. Thanks gjm… keep your reuters for yourself the next time..
