This is actually a bit lesser than Shounen-ai. Shounen-ai focuses on love story still, this does not cross that line, it sure is somewhere teetering yet not crossing. This is more teasing the viewers. I can totally picture it as bromance AND a bit more. Just like High School Frenemy and Peaceful Property. There was teasing but not crossing the line more than necessary.

Okay I am just back from watching the ep. 2 and , I guess it is because many parts of Thai culture is inspired by Old Hindu/Indian culture. The incantataions sound so Sanskrit to me, the invocations are what we do in our Pujas. The bell chimes and dholak like drum beats. I feel so happy and mesmerised.
