Just finished, and still a 10/10 tho I have some complains

1)I never expected the romance prospects to be overly passionate or anything. But I feel so robbed, because we got no kissing scenes in the later half, not even in the finale.Like bro they had so many chances, I thought they would kiss but they didnt!! For example, in that tent scene where Ye Li went to bring back MXY. I don't understand the point of cutting of the kiss scenes.
2)Lingyun's sudden death, I'll probably never stop speaking about this. I'm happy feng zhiyao avenged her by killing SZD, it was hella satisfying. But we were robbed from a great potential storyline

But I love how Ye ying and Ye Li fixed their relationship, it was so heart warming and satisfying to watch. Ye ying honestly deserved so much better than how she got treated in her married life.

Just finished, I cried seeing Qingshuang again😭

the voice actor and zhang linghe's voices were pretty similar. Also I heard zhang linghe was sick thats why he wasn't able to dub? But this voice actor also dubbed zhang linghe's other drama the princess royal. Their voices sound pretty much same

Yeah. It's always nice to see actors using their own voices. Lip sync of the dubbed voice doesnt look good always either

Zhang linghe used a voice actor for most scenes. But it was mixed, his own voice was in some scenes too. I was able to identify them as I watched him i. The best thing before. Also tian xiwei wasnt dubbed. I think some supporting characters like the princess was dubbed

They removed 7 episodes? Wasn't it a 40 ep drama?

Also it has something to do with accents. I think read somewhere that not all actors ans fluent in the standard accent used for shows. Thats why they get dubbed. Also busy schedules are also one of the reasons

Oh shi, I made a typo I wanted to write ' I CAN'T believe' 😭. I also want lingyun to magically pop up, and maybe kill SZD lol. Their story had a lot of potential, I'm still mad it ended like that

This is what I love about this drama too, like there is so character who is straight out villain or evil. Every single one of them had choices, and even tragic cases. Empress dowager for example, maybe she endured toxic harem schemes and things that pushed her to seize power. But everyone of them had a choice at some point. Mo jingli was also a victim like MXY and Ye li, yet he harmed innocents. And colluded with cangbei to disrupt the country. While his intentions to take down empress dowager is valid, his methods aren't good at all. This is what I love about this drama, that none are pure villains

Why did ye li's mom took the edict from mo xiuwen? Why did they wanted to hide it? Also how was ye li's mom deceived into tricking him?

Watched upto 11 episodes. It had a very strong start with amazing fun dynamics between the characters. But its getting a little silly rn. I'm confused abt how the story is directing. Lu xixiao already knows she is guo yan's daughter and she needs money. Hence her actions. So what's remaining? What else would hurt him bad enough for the 10 years later arc? Also the editing of the recent episodes feels a bit off too. I hope they don't drag it long and make it boring. The lead's are amazing tho. Their chemistry is one of the main reasons I'm watching. Still curious to see how things will unfold.

Yes. It would be unlikely if a smart and capable character like hers die this easily at the hands of someone like SZD.
