I get what you’re trying to say, but it just feels like you’re looking at everything from a very pessimistic angle. If you keep focusing only on what doesn’t make perfect logical sense, then of course you’re not going to like it. Not every story is meant to be dissected like that, some are meant to be felt, and this one clearly worked on an emotional level for a lot of people. If you keep watching stories like this with that mindset, you’ll probably never enjoy them the way they’re meant to be experienced.

Hated. So poorly constructed. Just from coming here, learned it was a remake. But come on. It is a tragedy by…
Honestly, y’all are so busy nitpicking logic that you completely missed the soul of the story. This wasn’t a sci-fi documentary about memory mechanics, it was about love, loss, and the lengths people go to just to protect someone they care about. The girl’s condition was never meant to be perfectly logical, it was just a storytelling device, and the real focus was on how love can still exist even when memories don’t, how people sacrifice silently, and how friendships can sometimes be even deeper than romance. Jimin literally erased parts of someone’s life just so Sooyeon wouldn’t have to live with that pain, and that’s not lazy writing, that’s emotional storytelling. And the father’s pain, that quiet suffering, didn’t feel forced at all, it felt raw, real, and honestly one of the most heartbreaking parts of the story. If you watched this just to find loopholes, then yeah, obviously you won’t like it, but if you watched it with even a little empathy, you’d understand why so many of us were crying. Not everything beautiful has to be perfectly logical, sometimes it just has to make you feel something, and this story did exactly that, so instead of being so pessimistic about every small detail, maybe try to appreciate the emotions it was trying to convey.

i didnt read everything but abt keeping it a secret
she had a bestie not everyone can hav. She was her savior, her soul sister. if she didnt tell anyone and kept it a secret and was in her hard times and suffered more than her for HER, than its not difficult to keep thr secret

never watching this drama again. The mosttt beautiful and emotional drama i hv ever watched. I cried my eyes out. I thought there wont be any drama more emotional than mr plankton or 20th c girl according to me but this drama??? Ive cried rivers and oceans. Everything in thia drama was so beautiful. Not only their love story but also the friendship side. I wish to hv a ji min in my life. I hope everyone does. Most precious drama. And yeah abt not rewatching it, i cant bare the trauma again.

why did they change the name? 😭😭
In Korea goblin means a powerful, protective good spirit. But in western terms it they portray goblin like an ugly scary monster so they used ‘Guardian’ to match his character

Just because it’s “social commentary” doesn’t mean it can’t be engaging. If it’s boring and doesn’t build tension its still a trash
