I'm the same as you... I finished it pretty quickly tho hoping I would understand toward the end but nope. I simply didn't understand while I still could "enjoy" the acting and the quality of production.
First, having a misunderstanding again really got on my nerves 😂 but then I liked the episode, quick 40min! If I were Chi Cheng, I think I'd need holidaysThe scene with Wang Shuo was great, I'd like to see them playing together again, Idk there's something good between them kind of

Tbh I really liked this episode. It felt less messy than last week's. Every characters always have different dynamic with each others which is very pleasant to see. I especially liked Chi Cheng and Wang Shuo's in this one. Wang Shuo was interesting, and that rumour since day one that says Cheng Yu likes Chi Cheng kills me everytime. Chen Yu seems so dumbfounded 😂
Splendid mini drama, the cinematography is beautiful and very colorful, the chemistry between the characters was great, I loved it! Very contemplative, the emotions are well delivered. It felt like watching a Ghibli all along. The vibe and the aesthetic reminded me of I told the sunset about you/I promised you the moon

Yes I realized some of it by the end of the 6th ep (I actually had forgotten about their first meet) but didn't get the whole X Company thing. I had it for the Enigma too 😆 Thanks for explaining
I don't know if they will keep going on with plots between Cheng Yu and Xiao Shuai but I felt that the plot resolution for Xiao Shuai's issue was rushed. Especially that there are a lot of interesting themes to talk about with Xiao Shuai's situation 🤔 but it just went 'I punished him, he said sorry, you can feel good now 👍'. While it takes one or two whole episodes for Chi Cheng and Suo Wei to resolve one misunderstanding. Don't get me wrong, I know they are the main couple but still... everyone loves Cheng Yu and Xiao Shuai so it's a bit frustrating. And even without everyone loving them, for the theme engaged, they should have done it properly. That's what annoys me in most of BLs tbh. Screenwriters write characters with traumas for the drama but they are actually unable to manage it properly... Still, I'm enjoying the show and expecting the next episodes, it has become one of my comfort show these days 😊
I will miss Ait and Mawin so baaaad 🥹 we had less and less of them toward the end, if they keep the dynamic, they could have their own drama, it would be great
The actors did a great job, especially Seonghyeon and Suhyeon's actors. But the plot is so fucked up... I'm not even talking about the situation Daon got up into (basicaly living the life of some women out there...), I'm just talking about how there are 0 psychological impact on him portrayed in the serie although everything he went and is going through. Ok it's fiction, but it doesn't mean it has to be nonsense... I finished it, I really liked Seonghyeon and Daon's realtionship but the other's two were not interesting to me, except to bring useless drama... There is much more to say but MimiTheReaper explained it well already
The last episode made me rate it 10/10. This drama was a breath of fresh air, I loved it. The characters are all human and lovable, with their good sides and "bad sides" nobody's perfecr. The storyline is very mature which is rare to see in romantic kdrama. I especially liked Jeong-ha which is a very realistic character, and what a PLEASURE to meet a woman like her in a kdrama of this kind. The family is so well protrayed with a powerful dynamic. I loved Minjae, Hyejoon's manager, Jinu and Haena, Hae-hyo, all of them!! I'd like to list them all. It would have been a pleasure to follow them longer but the drama had to end 🤭
