You might not be very used to east asian school drama maybe? It's not meant to be realistic, this kind of highschool fight drama with big organisations and yankees and stuff became a genre itself with its own codes where adults are nowhere to be useful because the school and students are a microcosm. At most (often in Japanese drama of this genre) you can have a teacher who helps (Gokusen, Misaki Number 1, GTO, Frenemy for Thailand -even if she is barely useful...) but otherwise adults do not interfere. What actually matters in this genre: fight, friendship, maturing and getting through personal difficulties. It's basically a "shonen" type of serie 😊
I thought not many paid attention to them, but I'm glad you have a similar opinion, I don't have enough of these…
I completly agree about Guide, he can show this kind behavior and he has a watchful eye. There are a lot of tiny gestures he has toward his co-actor in the serie that really make the difference I think. About age, I really thought he was older because of that, he looks mature haha AitMawin really needed more plot for themeselves in the show!
Omg this episode was something... and not in a good way like... what the hell was that "fighting scene"? I kinda predicted Ait and Mawin would find them (god knows how btw) but they were so useless ? And Keen somehow threatening two gangsters with guns with his small lighter?? xD Their "investigation" was so lame and uninteresting. The plot completly left AitMawin bond which had become my main reason to keep watching the serie. I don't even understand their final plan and I wouldn't be surprised if Pakorn died sacrificing himself for his son or some shit like that. Btw, the way Thun told his father he was a coward?? Boy, if your father stood up like you say, he'd probably be dead, so would be your mom, and you'd be fighting to death for Sia Thep. End of story. It feels like the writters had good ideas at the beginning but ended up writting bullshit. Let's see how it ends.
Ait and Mawin in this serie are just so sweet. Romantic series often (if it's not always) start from characters that are not already dating and the whole plot is about them getting together. But with Ait Mawin, since they are already together, they had to develop them differently and each scenes with them two was just so endearing... the way they are here for each other, supporting each other, knowing about each other's fears, worries... The way they are physical with each other (like when they hug, touch each other's face and hands) makes everything very natural and believable. I wish to see more couples like AitMawin in BL drama. They did a great job with those two
I’m sorry, I’m sorry, Thun and Keen are great… but Ait and Mawin have my whole heart! I know that’s controversial…
Oh my! How is it controversial? They are so great!! I'm mostly watching for them tbh!! They are not in a state where they are looking for each other but they support and are the comfort zone of each other, that's so sweet 🥹
I know this is Khanin and Charan's time to shine but I think I might be more invested in Phethai and Prince Ramil's…
I know right! They seems to have an interesting bond and story too. Tbh, all the pairs seems quite good and interesting even if we didn't see much of Calvin (and I forgot his pair name's) yet, and Ava et Mira (I guess?)
Hilarious. But the end... I don't really know.Chalee is clearly the one who doesn't gain anything from the situation…
Yeaaah ! I actually thought the episode was very good until the end. It's actually very sad for Chalee, he clearly got fooled and is caught in a toxic relationship for him. Hard for me to take it as a joke (but it's very personnal) Other than that the episode was hilarous 😆
I love anime adpatation into live action film but I have to admit that for Gintama I'm kinda confused... Oguri Shun is a great actor, he can play all types of role but... well I'll wait to see that.
Japanese adaptation are better year by year ( Death Note or Ranma 1/2 even if the manga is of course better or Shingenki no Kyoujin which have good critics or Assassination Classroom (1) that I saw recently and which is, I think, very good) so I'm pretty excited. I know Yamada Ryosuke only with Assassination Classroom so I don't know what he can do but I'm confident even if Full Metal Alchemist could be hard to adapt.
