It’s so worth it. All that angsty drama has been totally worth it. The ending of ep.4 turned all my frowns upside down.

Thank you to everyone in the comments who pointed out there are two real-life brothers playing different characters, almost completely unrelated to each other. They really do look so much alike that I was confused at first as to why it seemed like the same character was in two storylines, but I was able to figure out what was what pretty quickly because I had the heads up.

Really loving and living for this show right now. And there’s just so many places it could go. I can’t wait…
It really brought me all those feels when in ep.4 Im Sol’s inner monologue expresses how all she wants, in essence everything she is trying to do in the past, is to try to extend the future by just one day. She wants for Seon Jae to find enough solace in the past to want to extend his life even by just one day in the future, so that she can go back and save him. She just wants one more day! It’s a feeling I can understand.

And on a side note, I am actually starting to think there is foul play possibly involved in Seon Jae’s actual cause of death. But that’s a whole other post.

Really loving and living for this show right now. And there’s just so many places it could go. I can’t wait to see the journey this takes us on. I have to admit it makes me think a whole lot more than other kdramas, but only because I’m constantly thinking about the timelines and what events from the past could possibly alter the future and how. And now there’s even this whole other unknown and forgotten story from the past that fits into all of this. I’m already counting down the days until I get to find out more.

This is my guilty pleasure show. A lot can be pointed out for what it is lacking, but it’s got that little something special that balances it all out enough to still fall on the enjoyable side. Plus lots of good kisses. I won’t even say I love to hate it, because I don’t hate it. Without embarrassment, I will admit I really like this. (Maybe I’m a little embarrassed, but I said what I said, so I’m sticking to it.)

I guess I’m going to keep watching. This show has been nothing but a test to my patience, and makes me constantly adjust my expectations. But I’ve got a little interest left, so I’ll wait to see where it leads me.

This was an okay story, easy and palatable. The pacing was soooo sloooow at times though, and the drama felt forced throughout. The characters all acted like they were in a high stake, life or death battle, but I was often confused about what was even at stake or why they were all so serious about it. But hey, a story was told, the actors did well, and it lives up to it’s title, so all’s well that ends well, I guess.

Title My Name Is Loh Kiwan Spoiler
What a journey this was for Loh Kiwan. His last words of the film being “I finally realized that what I’ve truly yearned for is not the right to live in this land, but the right to leave” pretty much sums it up. He literally went through hell and back to cross the border of his own (divided) country, and somehow in the midst of that he amazingly finds true love.

This is a heartbreaking but also heart-mending type of story that shows the bleakness of living in the absolute deepest depths of shit that life can deal you, but that sometimes, just maybe, life can also somehow offer up a silver lining. That piece of your heart that makes you keep living because there is something to live for and living becomes about more than just mere survival. Loh Kiwan deserves every single second of his happy ending.

Title Ready, Set, Love Spoiler
This was really a bit bonkers, but still it was fun. I wanted to see the all-powerful Family fall to ruins, but instead only got a bit of the pillars that hold the institution up possibly beginning to crumble. I would actually watch a season 2. While this isn’t great, it is most definitely diverting.

I’m not giving up on this just yet, but that’s mostly only because I’d like to actually see the MLs meet one another. I honestly can’t believe that I’m hoping in the fifth episode, yeah FIFTH episode, that they might. It really is crazy to me that we’re a third of the way into the series and the MLs have had one awkward exchange with each other and haven’t even introduced themselves or even been in like the same room together. I’m holding out just to see if they’ve possibly got good chemistry. I’m also hoping this show will do SOMETHING, really anything, so far it’s been a whole lot of nothing.

If you happen to be here to peruse the comment section to see if maybe you should watch this or not, my recommendation is a solid yes.

For those that are thinking “but he falls in love with his dog”. No he doesn’t. The ML falls in love with a human man that has the shared memories of his dog’s past life. And yes, there is a difference. If you’re even interested in watching this show after reading it’s synopsis, then you must know you’ll have to suspend your belief. This is fantasy fiction, check your brain at the door and just enjoy.

I’m more of a cat person, so it’s sort of funny to me that I was more drawn to Milk’s storyline. And bravo to this show, because the second love story is just as immersive as the main.

This is very much worth the watch.

What? I mean… Huh? What was that ending? What even happened in this show? Why did the last episode spend so much time on the Minami “big reveal” that she’s the daughter of the girl in the video, but spend so little time on Hikaru & Ryo?

Just duh, the moment Minami showed up at the school as the film-girl’s doppelgänger, it was pretty easy to figure out, of course she’s the daughter, that was not a shocker. But for some reason that’s the focus of the ending?

This entire series was a test to my patience, and ultimately a let down. There was a moment in ep.6 that led into ep.7 where I thought maybe this show could be interesting, but big nope, it fell absolutely flat.

I come away from this series with only the understanding that unrequited love sucks, which is not exactly an astounding message, but way to shove it down our throats I guess. But even still, Hikaru and Ryo feel more unfinished than unrequited in their affections. Or at least that’s what I’m choosing to believe so I can have any actual feeling about this show.

I enjoyed this show. I looked forward to watching it from week to week and I’m actually going to miss it just a bit. I did feel a little let down by the last episodes, but that’s not enough to make me change my mind. Every character was acted well, and I’ll just always be a fan of Ji Han’s, I rooted for him the whole way through.

You can’t call yourself a fan of BL if you haven’t watched Semantic Error. Yes, this is a hill I’m willing to risk life and limb upon. This isn’t just a must watch, it’s necessary viewing.

I will forever love this show and you should watch it too if you haven’t yet.

Where… is this… going… ? Wherever that might be, it’s not getting there quickly, that’s for sure. Not only is this show just incredibly slooooooow. It also makes me think that either I, or the writers, know almost absolutely nothing about teenagers. Maybe it’s a cultural thing and for that I obviously am showing my ignorance and misunderstanding, however, what group of teenagers is this dang pensive? I just don’t think that’s how they work, no matter where they’re from. This is the age where you make the most mistakes and learn from them.
Just. do. something. already.
This show is absolutely a study in patience.

I agree. Though I liked it overall, all of the MLs were so antagonistic for most of the series, there was not…

Title Jazz for Two Spoiler
This was an alright show. It felt quick and not really completed in the short time that the season/series had, but it was an enjoyable morsel of a series.

Here’s my qualm though, the chemistry between the MLs is just fire. And that kiss in the final episode, it’s completely bonkers fantastic. But why wait to the last minutes of the show to set off those fireworks?! Literally, this show was given like those huge, sky-fillling and majestic fireworks to work with, but chose to play with sparklers the whole time instead.

This, I’m sure, sounds so petty because I really just wished for one more kiss.
And plus maybe better closure on where the side couple stands. But regardless, bravo to the actors for well-played roles and embodying their characters so well.

On I Feel You Linger in the Air Mar 21, 2024
Alright, alright. I’ll give this a 10/10. As I was watching the thought did occur that maybe this is overhyped, that yes, everyone loves to say they love it, but is it “good” or is it actually “great”? It was completely satisfying, so I’ll give it better than a “great” and say it’s simply “superb”.

Now that all is said and done, am I left a little confused? Yes. But it doesn’t really matter. When a story is done right, there is beauty and sorrow that can be felt in any beginning and every ending. There will just always be a bit of sadness and happiness for that which is left behind to start anew, and also leaving behind when it’s the end of the line. If life is a circle, then I Feel You Linger In The Air shows that beginnings bring endings and endings bring new beginnings. And what a great ending it was. Any series finale episode can make it or break it for a show, and this is up there with just the best of all time.

I have to mention that I felt a profound jealously for those that got to watch this while it was airing. I couldn’t get access to it then, but it was that show that was talked about and I was itching to watch. One VPN subscription later and at long last, I’m in. But damn, what I wouldn’t have given to watch it with you all back then.

I’m totally for a second season that is just bonkers, out of left field, time traveling havoc that brings Jom and Yai together. Let’s see them in 1823, and more of them in 2023, and any other century. I’d be in for it.
