An underrated character is the king's palace maid, she doesn't snitch to the queen mother, and seems to like I-An & Seong HuiJu, probably why its have gone so smoothly till now. But its also quite weird, because wouldn't the queen mother make sure the maid beside him would report / be loyal to her?

If you read the mdl description, the first genre tag is "comedy". You keep mixing up the actor's acting and the character portrayal too. If you keep switching between them for the benefit of your argument, how will we get anywhere? It seems like you have a problem with the script writing, not the acting based on your responses, or you're just making up excuses on why IU shouldn't have been casted.
