omg do u think they are mimes who need to exaggerate their facial expressions, especially in the 1st ep where they just meet again, the emotions haven't rushed in yet. maybe its a skill issue if you cant read their expressions, the subtle hints in their eyes & lips say everything.

No they don't tho, he clearly wants to leave the palace and be free, not bound by duty, and if he doesn't marry her, he'll have to wed a woman the queen mother chooses, if he does she will probably have full control over him, which is why she keeps insisting. For the FL, she doesn't want to marry any of the guys picked by her fam because they're too ugly or not the right status, and i'm sure she doesn't want to marry someone chosen by them, she wants to make her own choices, and choosing someone to match her standard like the grand prince is not a bad idea. She always liked chasing clout and being the centre of attention, marrying a prince is definately smth she would do.

I think they're just setting the pace for now, so not much plot wise so far, but the next few eps will surely be captivating i feel <3
