Not exactly the best writing, still ok, cool concept, great ML and Psycho and that's it!!? Too many filler scenes and a lot of unnecessary stupidity fom the characters. 7/10 for me, mainly coz of acting and concept. And for God's sake it was produced in 2017 not 1971! At least put some effort on writing a better dialogue.
Now in ep 10, skipped a lot, watching at the speed of 2X. It's slow! Too slow to handle, it could've been a good movie though. I'm rooting for the 2ML though i'm usually like that, the ML needs to get a life that doesn't circle around the FL!
Making Fate a hero out of the blue wasn't exactly the most logical thing at least for me, though i kind of liked the last question between him and XM and the last chess game, somehow all along i though the love he was looking for and wanted to have was not the romantic love at the end as he thought, but the type of unspoken friendship and care he had all along. YET I STILL DON"T LIKE THE WAY THE LAST 10 EPs WERE WRITTEN. It could've been much better. The whole drama is 8.5 for me, though the 1st 30 eps are straight 10/10. I don't mind different opinion as long as we are respecting each other's, but it seems like having a different perspective on things made me look like someone who wants sassy and sexy scenes only.... blah blah blah. BTW nothing wrong with wanting those scenes at all, but what i wanted was a better writing for this arc, and a little less rushed ending! Agreed. I actually skip through ep 30-35. I wasn’t as invested in pearl and zhao Ming arc.

This arc is badly written, as if it were written by someone else other than the one who wrote the previous episodes. It is very long, and yes Fate has a better clean image and so majestic yet evil in a certain way with too much love expressed here and there! XM is basically doing nothing at all but looking hot!! Certain incidents should have been shown and more focus on him as the heroic emperor who is trying to save the world should've been the main aspect of this arc. Yet, it's all flattering scenes between him and Pearl!!!! Really?!!!!!!!!!! Is that your best as a writer?
From Ep 1 to 29 it was 10/10 for me, everything was spot on! ep 30-35 could've been only 2 or 3 episodes, they are boring, though important! too much prolonged scenes and the one thing i waited for i couldn't get: Getting the sword (Forgot its name) Ep 36, we're back on track again, but everything seems so rushed! I wanted more of the demon king! BTW Bin Bin micro-expressions are just WOW!
