Not really, the ML and FL were terrible, and leave alone the mothers and the rest of the supporting cast🙄🙄. The whole thing was too slow and focused mainly on the general atmosphere of the place, and the looks. I liked the dinner's dad; the other one was ok too. But the drama felt so flat, with no substance at all. I'm not gonna compare, coz comparison drives Kdrama fans crazy!!! But the makers picked one hell of an iconic drama to remake, so it means trying to make a better vr. out of it and they knew very well that comparison is inevitable.

Watched the whole drama on 2x speed with a lot of skipping, the saving graces for me were:
- The children
- The Dads
- The 2nd ML
and that's it!

The law is just a defamed imperfect justice.
I mean that the law is a malfunctional, distorted, and disfigured set of roles, that were created for justice's sake, and that justice is not even "Just" enough. It's always incomplete. So incomplete that it turns out to be a grinding injustice for the victims.

Much worst. Pure evil.

A hateful person is a very understandable and straight forward person, while a manipulative one is pure evil.

Did you watch Go ahead? coz the Kdrama made her much nicer.

I didn't watch anything yet for Zhao Liying, so i can't compare them at all. Yet, i have to say that watching wu-jin-yan in Kill me love me didn't give me any impression of good acting. I tried and watched a couple of episodes of The Double coz everyone advised me to do, and frankly i tried my best to like her acting, but i couldn't!!! She lacks something! I don't know what it is, but there is no wow factor about her performance so far.

I'd say Bai lu, she has that cold aura of an assassin when needed, and she can go with minimal and micro-expressing. Some other actresses came to my mind now, but they are a too young and not experienced enough for such role. Landy Li, Xu Ruhan and Wang Chu Ran.
Anyway, it's nice talking to someone who is ok with the idea of " how different people are" Thank you.

Tricky question to trap. Nice. 👏 Currently i don't have anyone in mind, but i don't like over expressing at all, so i'm not that impressed with the FL's acting skills so far, she is a little over the top.

Finally a sane saying. It's like FL fan club in the comment section.

32 episodes and 5 is a good portion to have a good idea about the Chemistry for now, that might change later, but in that 5 episodes, they don't click well together, at least for me.

I didn't watch the double, i'm talking about this one. It's my 1st drama for her and i'm not impressed with her performance.

TBH the FL is not exactly the best option for this drama, there is a lack of Chemistry here.

Edit: That's my 1st drama for the FL, so i'm not an antifan. And i didn't watch the Double, so her perfection in it doesn't affect my pov about her performance and Chemistry with the ML HERE. It's ok that u guys like her so much, but no need to be that defensive!!! Just chill, and enjoy the drama.
