Ep 5 just flew by! Intriguing developments, a heartfelt heroine and the larger than life soon to be ex-wife. My favourite moment though: our hero and the younger sister.

Short but sweet and well worth your time!

Episode 10 was challenging!!!

I’m hanging in there because SYJ is just effortless in her portrayal and I like the brother who is the security guard and his growing relationship with Jin Yoo’s sister.

At the end of the day Love at First Hate had potential, but I found Dr Pup slightly odious (well a bit more than slightly). When he dialed it back, his relationship with Klauy shone through. Ploy as a character was a good baddie and her future better half played a good role. In a way, Klauy’s mum, who had a strong presence, really needed to be in a more dynamic story. So, overall it was light entertainment, with enjoyable moments, along with good support characters but a story that was a bit laboured.

Then I had a crazy thought that as viewers we might end up not knowing what is the real world and what is the game :-)

It’s almost like the Ghost in the Machine. It’s either someone external controlling the game, or Dr Cha’s consciousness has become a part of the game, or the game itself has become sentient and gone rogue and logs on at will!

It is good and well worth a watch. It has great concepts and I like how it draws you in through Jin Woo’s interactions with the game. Our leads are doing a fine job.

Episode 5 gave some very funny clues

I have made myself keep going with this show so many times. The only thing that is really keeping me going now is to see Se Na get her just desserts. If everyone else has a happy ending, I will count that as a bonus (he says with everything crossed) :-)

Low key, but interesting - with a few giggles and a smouldering scene here and there. The dilemma of the vampire was well put across by Jung Jeon Yoo and Song Kang’s scenes of bad acting during his auditions for Romeo and Juliet were well done. The end credits were also very good (make sure you watch them).

Overall, not a bad movie. Plenty of action and heroics on a grand scale. Great costuming, colours and weapons.

I think we are dealing with two high level artistic types who are struggling with acceptance and disappointment regarding their own abilities and failings. They know they are good for each other, it’s just their turbulent artisan side gets in the way of how they should process things and act in a normal way with one another (if there is such a thing).

I was a bit annoyed that they went down the path of introducing the fiancé, although I did think previously her character would turn up again at some point. I guess it’s the counterpoint regarding HYK’s disastrous relationship with Eric. I was also hoping for more out of the secondary relationships in this episode. I think it will have a happy ending

Wow, I was drawn right in from the get go. To me they have the augmented VR vibe just right and I like how they have created a mysterious feel around the story’s changing timeline and course of events. It’s almost like the game is in charge of events. What is real, and what is not? I think we are in for a real treat...

Yes, I have dropped quite a few lately. I also dropped Goblin too - at the end of the fourth episode I think :)

A very nicely done article. For me, Life was a disappointment. I was on the verge of dropping it so many times. I found there were all these wonderful characters and actors, with some wonderful moments, but the story didn’t deliver. I am aware I have looked at this show through a different lens to most people because I have been in the middle of many of the situations portrayed in the story. Yes, I know it’s a drama, but it was so up and down for me (maybe that was the point?). Then there was the ending. Keep on writing more articles.
