if i am not wrong and you are talking about the guy in the first episode he did not ask her on a date but to spend a 'steamy night with him' and that is highly inappropriate plus she had only been working for less than a month so i would say it was a kind of normal reaction in a kdrama

yeah it would have been repetitive as it has happened many times in other dramas
