How ridiculous to be upset about an adaptation being somewhat faithful to the source material.
The webtoon is set in a fictional European kingdom for a reason. If they localized it and set in Joseon it would make no sense. In historical Korea a king is meant to have concubines, it was even considered to be his duty, so how would the queen be angry at him for cheating ... And no Korean queen could divorce her husband as there was no divorce let alone remarriage. Even widows remarrying was very rare. And the only neighbouring kingdoms were China and Japan - I am sure that would go over well.
And the idiotic fanatics who cannot grasp the difference between real history and fictional history/alternative realities would again throw huge tantrums over the smallest things like they did with Perfect Crown.
Can someone tell me is it Jeon so young who hug him in last episode??
According to wiki: Jeon So-young as Jung Min-ah, with whom Seong-jae had a relationship before his enlistment and whom he meets again now, as she is a trainee reporter for the Korea Defense Daily.
The ending wasn't really rushed, they had time so show a lot of the happy ending, but they missed key elements.…
The QM's father was in prison and PM also most likely ended up there. There are police officers in front of the door when we last see him. And the QM did not really kill him. He was depressed, and she told him she would rather see him dead. Sure. But when the baby king is barricaded in his room after abdicating there is a flashback of Ian's brother (the late king) also being barricaded inside during the fire. So it is implied he committed suicide. Since there was no explosion, he could have easily left the room and escape if he wanted to.
MBC really did the writer-nim, IU, Byeon Woo-seok, and the fans dirty. They really didn’t deserve them. Guys,…
Sadly, the web novel only covers the high school era of the script. I hope they publish their original version of the rest too. MBC/Disney really butchered it.
i need to know how this script won a writing contest like it's wattpad level of writing
I think the script they wrote was probably for 16 if not 20 episodes. But since Disney wanted 12 they hacked it up badly. I hope the writer releases their original script as a novel version.

I wonder who she is going to play. His sister or the healer girl.
