Everyone saying the FL is naive but lets not forget the dad is a master manipulator. He didnt come up from shoddy background to a rich dude by muscle and brains alone. Although Xu started the business, Wu made it what it was, he was hired specifically for his people's skills. Plus it looks like he has genuine affection for his daughter, so its not strange FeiFei is having a hard time believing he is a vile human.

Yeah, the song and the necklace are too significant to ignore. I’m not sure whether the leads are twins, or if Qu Meng had Gao Fend with the reporter and then, after the reporter dies/is murdered, ended up with Wu to survive and had FeiFei. It’s possible she later tried to reconnect with or find Gao Feng, and that’s what led to her being murdered and buried inside the statue.

Part of me wants to believe FeiFei is Wu’s biological daughter; otherwise, his level of affection doesn’t quite add up. He doesn’t seem like the type, unlike Gao Feng’s father, who would take in a non-biological child and treat her so lovingly. Still, I could be wrong.

I’m fairly certain the woman in the wheelchair is Ms. Hong. Also, as I mentioned before, Gao Feng’s adopted mother is probably the woman who discovered the tapes in the room. She clearly knows more than she’s letting on.

I also suspect Su Min’s senior/boss was involved with the club. He comes across as sleazy, and Wu seems to recognize him from back in the days, which feels intentional.

Just finished ep 6. I dont know if the lady in the wheel chair is Qu Meng or the one whose bones were found in the statue, but I think Gao Feng and Wu FeiFei might be twins. And FeiFei was probably kidnapped by Wu and his "manager" wife since they werent able to have children. Both are definitely children of a girl that worked in the club. I also think Gao Feng's adopted mom might be the lady in black that first lures Wang into the club.
I also think Su Min's parent's murder might be connected since the club was also involved in narcotics.
I am really surprised all of this passed the censorship, since China always tries to show a laundered version.

As an adult I agree, but as someone who was once a teenager, I can see kids being the way these guys are - hormonal and stupid! Literally reminds me of my high school days, guys beating up other guys to show how macho they are, high school kids thinking they have found 'true love' (LOL...), etc.

Ok, so I want to know from folks who are maybe in the similar age range as the characters if kids are still behaving like these folks? I know they certainly were when I was in high school. I was having such a hard time with this show and then I remembered they are potraying high school kids and many of my peers were literally this hormonal and messy when I was growing up and then I started enjoying the drama :P

Quick question, I just started watching it and I feel like I have started watching something from the middle of the story. Is this a sequel to another show/story?

I have to agree. I feel like the emphasis is too much on cool martial arts and stunts and this would have excited me so much when I was younger but now not so much and its just personal preference. I am on episode 5 and they are still at the arc of protecting the Patriarch, it feels like the story has not moved much at all. They try to kill him and fail, its a bit repetitive.

I think Woojin and Eun Ho are probably twins (fraternal). Because when Evil Bio Mom was talking about kids from previous marriage, she mentioned children as in plural.

Also, even more trashy of her to give up her girl child in favor of male child. Then call her a "thing" and expect her to giver her liver to her brother!!!

I must say, the FL is surrounded by mostly horrible men, especially brothers.

Yeah like why did she marry a guy who was conquering places and would eventually become a leader in the first place? Like what was the end game in her mind?
