There is a huge difference between Jing Zhao's obsession and Bai Jue's love... You didn't get it because you dropped it here...

Jing Zhao gave away her golden dragon spirit to Qing Mu to make him grateful to her for saving his life and then marry her because of this favor... It's like, she wanted to tie him down to herself in the name of love by making him feel guilty if he still deny to choose her over Hou Chi... Her love wants possession...

While, on the other hand, Bai Jue revived Shang Gu not to be with him forever, but to fulfill her wish, as not to be born as Supreme God... He never intended to make her fall in love with him again, that's why he sealed her memories and powers himself... Hou Chi's falling in love with Qing Mu is actually a mistake of Bai Jue's original plan of reviving Shang Gu... It's the love of letting go and being happy seeing the beloved safe and sound... Bai Jue's love was never about possession...

I don't want to spoil it more for you but, dude... you're missing out the most important, emotional and best arc of the story... By continuing ahead you'll get to know what type of Bai Jue's love for Shang Gu is exactly... And I am sure you'll change your perspective of Bai Jue by then....

The site I mentioned hasn't released episode 8 with English subs yet... Only 6 episodes has been released with subtitles so far... You may have watched it somewhere else...

I've watched Deliberations of Love already... But these two are different dramas with same ML and his dressing style is also similar... Maybe that's the reason why you feel this way... Also FL here was also in Deliberations of Love but it was kinda support/guest role...

Yuwen Yuan (Male Lead), the Prince of Nancheng and younger brother of Emperor Yuwen Ying Ren (Second Male Lead), holds military power and stationed on country borders. He is in love with Su Yan.

Su Yan (Female Lead), the half-sister of Empress Su Wan (Second Female Lead), married Emperor just after the death of Empress to fulfill the last dying wish of her sister, to take care of her child by marrying emperor for 5 years.

Su Yan was originally in love with Yuwen Yuan. She broke up with her love at very bad terms without explaining him the reason of her marriage clearly. This misunderstanding created a drift in their relationship. After marrying Emperor she became the new Empress.

True! The subs sucks but I still can't stop myself from watching... If there are improved subs in future I'll re-watch it...

As for Lost You Forever.. it has sort of heartbreaking story but this heartbreak mainly left for the season 2... But but but.. season 1 it's too too good and it also depends on which ship you are on.. I won't spoil it for you but definitely highly recommend it to you...

Now, Back from the brink.. it's also a good one.. started with the angst and a lot of funny moments... I personally loved it...

Same here! The hug in the last was the most beautiful and meaningful thing for both Shang Gu and Bai Jue.. than anything else... I missed it in TLI... But I guess it would give the same vibe as ALP if they have included it in TLI...so they didn't include it...

The hell... When I was watching this episode for the first time I was so shocked for a moment... How come Bai Jue changed in an instant?! But when the truth revealed I was really laughing at myself 🤣🤣

I regret it's revelation... Bian LuoHuan has to disappear now😭 why they didn't make Shifang disappear already.. this guy is irritating me don't know why... But they did make to cease the existence of my favourite character here... Now I am not sure if I want to continue this drama anymore honestly...

I'm just sorry for Maiming... I'm so fed up with Zhaoyan literally... Like why is she apologizing constantly and allowing everyone to condemn her and everytime needs someone else to make her realise that it was not her fault...
