Unpopular opinion I really dislike this show. Totally fine if you like it, I don't have a problem with that, but…
The fact that he was getting better and then just got worse is actually very realistic. For all people who think this behavior is cute and romantic, I don't know what is wrong with them, and those who think they might change the person - no, it's impossible, they might hold back and then just show all of their true colours. Which is why I also hated this drama - I honestly thought she will escape him with some normal guy, but oh well.
Omg I only saw reviews how this is romantic comedy, but I have never seen that much toxicity and abuse. I really rooted for Secretary Kim thinking she will leave this self obsessed narcissist, but she fell back into his trap. The way he humiliated her is beyond everything. I barely finished series. It's well made, but I hate it (everyone acts very well).
I am surprised so many people are confused by the story - it's super obvious. I love how parts are mixed up, because linear storytelling would be too predictable and boring. I love how the way it's shot gives this documentary feeling. Absolutely love it. Jeff is really talented actor and singer and the more I see/hear him, the more I find KinnPorsche being his worst role so far. Not that he's bad there, just the role is too simple and doesn't do him justice, he needs to have more room for his talent.
Right, right? I feel exactly the same. I think that "something different" is greatest chemistry between main leads…
Although I can't help but enjoy good and well choreographed sex scenes, I am a big advocate of the fact that you don't need to show sex to give viewers clear understanding of what is happening, why and how hot it is. Sex scenes aren't necessary for most movies, chemisty and charged energy are , and Deep Night is doing great in that regard so far. The story is slow but properly ignited in terms of burning passion. Fingers crossed they keep it up.
I am enjoying every bit of this series a little too much honestly, I've seen all 3 episodes twice now. I didn't…
Right, right? I feel exactly the same. I think that "something different" is greatest chemistry between main leads and it isn't only happening in nc scenes.
I am enjoying these series so much! The chemistry between Khem and Wela are just burning fire! Originally I thought it is going to be something else, and arguably there isn't even any intense plot, but guys are so hot but also sweet and sensual towards each other, it's a breath of fresh air in a way. Many series are either too sweet or completely unhealthy relationship wise, this is some perfect balance so far. I hope they keep up the hard work they started and won't disappoint ❤️❤️❤️
Okay this was so bad, so bad! Such a great story completely wasted. Zee and NuNew have amazing halo of sweet romance about them, but they need to back it up with acting which is non-existent at this point. Maybe it's wrong to blame it all on the actors, so I will also say terrible writing, bad dialogues, directing... I even hate how badly clothes fit the characters size-wise. Although of course Thai BL fashion is something else and I have seen much worse. This was boring and I rewound back so many times because I was literally falling asleep. This is like a boring version of Cutie Pie, because same arranged marriage of Zee and NuNew and nothing else. Oh they cook and go to work. I read it somewhere that we need to dream of better worlds, so I do hope that some day soon gay marriage would be a thing society won't make a fuzz about, but two guys together in a 20s century Thailand and no one blinks? Come on, you have to at least have 2 lines that address the issue a bit better than parents and grandfather going "they are both guys, you don't mind? - nah". Also that guru in a hat totally looked like a pimp.
First episodes are fun and enjoyable, but then it sort of stalled. I loved Ai long Nhai and hate to admit this is basically the same acting. At the point where drama starts happening, no one deliveres it, Guy has 3 recurrent facial explanations and "Oooi" line that is just... The breakup that happens over something that is solved in a day... So many scenes where characters eat and invite each other in the game, instead of truly telling their story. I guessed one of the characters was police, and it's a great idea, but like to what avail? 10 seconds of police? Clichéd one hero singlehandedly beats the whole gang? I don't know, is it bad writing maybe? Shame, cause it's a good story, cute actors, buy feels like it's a wasted potential. It's not bad, I have seen much worse, but it could be so much better.
How can this boring, badly written nonsense get such high ratings is a mystery to me. Sometimes the story is lazy but the scenes and characters are pleasing to look at, this is not the case. Don't get me started on overused clichés and lack of chemistry, loopholes and common sense. So so bad. 4,5 out of 10 in my opinion.
