Healthy love is not obsessive, obsession is not love. It might look nice on screen but it always looks mental in real life, and healthy love is hella boring.

I disagree, because Lu Feng had his episodes when they were completely alone together. Remember how he drugged Xiao Cheng when he came to apologize and constructed a whole imaginary scenario in his head and then raped him? He set off when Xiao Cheng was talking on the phone, in his sleep (!!!), or just wanted to stay home alone and clean. He wasn't Lu Feng's cure, he was the core of his obsession.
I enjoyed these series immensely! It's 10 out of 10 for me, BUT I am a bit disappointed they toned it down compared to Japanese original, and although I am a huge sucker for happy endings, I think it would be more logical for that dream to be true, Lu Feng committing suicide out of fear of hurting baby Xiao Cheng, and Xiao Cheng ending up in the mental hospital because baby was wronged by everyone and completely broken having suffered so much.
Finally finished it! Phew!People are happy his red flags are explained away by bipolar disorder? 😂 He certainly…
The movie has no ending basically they dropped it in the middle. It was much worse in the movie, because Cheng's brother was also a horrible person who undermined and ruined all the chances for happiness, etc. His wife wasn't perfect either, so. If you feel like a more violent take on a story, you should check the movie out
Does bipolar treatment needs hospitalization? even if it is that bas should he not be in close proximity of his…
Bipolar disorder can be controlled, but Lu Feng's mental health went so far beyond that and he started having violent episodes, so naturally he needs to be hospitalised. I had a friend with diagnosed bipolar disorder and it was like you have 2 or even more friends and you never know who is this with you, which person. It's very hard to accept and it influences your mental health too, because you think you are going crazy with them.
Wait what kind of ending was that??? The fortune teller had more to tell??? What is it??? I wanna know. WHAT??????
I suppose that the meaning of this scene was that they both wished to go back in time to the very beginning and make a choice to be together and avoid all the troubles and fallouts they had.
Idk if u all care or not but I'm happy tht they both are together finally. But I'm so sad and wronged for Lu Feng…
Because Lu Feng's lover and everything about him was the trigger that made his personality split and spiral into craziness, hence seeing him meant retraumatization, and what's the point of hospital then?
This tbh. If you're older than 18 yo, this BL is not for you.Characters acting like children is not something…
It's the "You are either with us, or against us" mentality mostly seen in those not very self-confident and needing belonginess. They felt something about the series and they want everyone to feel the same. It's a surprisingly hard lesson to learn for many, that we are all different and like different things and that that doesn't make anyone good or bad, it's just the preference.
Yep it's definitely a cute fluff show and I can see why it's a hit for a mostly younger fanbase. Just disappointing…
Probably because life is so hard these days people accumulate so much frustration and anger they have no other way of letting go of it rather than lashing out on random people on the internet. I once commented on a BBC news post about a woman being prosecuted for biting a man's finger off (I was genuinely curious when asking what did he do to provoke her in the first place) and I kid you not the replies, comments on my page and DMs wishing me being dead and raped amounted in hundreds. That being said MDL has a much nicer haters haha.

I strongly believe that if I don't like, didn't enjoy, even hate some movie or series that doesn't make those bad, and it doesn't make me bad. It's just an emotion that doesn't define the whole production team or actors. We can obviously pinpoint what could be done better, where are weak points, etc, but that is not offensive unless of course it is expressed in an offensive manner. I also know for the fact that many of the shows I loved were really really bad. Like if I had to write a professional review, I would say how bad was writing, acting, camera, dialogues, etc, etc, but that still didn't stop me from enjoying it very much. You know, it's so bad it's good situation))). I just wish people were genuinely kinder and more aware that there are other people with their different opinions, and they all need to peacefully coexist. That makes our world more interesting.
Can anyone from Korea explain to me what everyone finds offensive? Because you can't seriously be so enraged about a few beads on someone's head piece.
I was absolutely not going to watch this drama, because all of Korean romcoms follow all the same clichés that I already am bored of - intriguing first episode, still interesting for the next 6 and then ridiculous stalling for next 6 with the most stupid ending. But the amount of backlash against these series that flooded my social media feeds peaked my interest and I decided to take a look, and that was the best decision! This is one of the best Korean series I have seen. I enjoyed literally every bit of it. One annoying cliché slipped through tho - the rich hot and virgin male lead who only ever loved one woman since high school, but I forgive it, because it kinda made sense in this setting, and every character had wonderful twist to it and strong well built character. I gave it 9.5 rating, because I enjoyed myself immensely. People need to chill about hating fiction they see on screen. I understand being triggered, but I genuinely don't understand what's here to be triggered about since it fully imaginary setting, zero chance to be historical, etc. And god I loved the actors so much, even the boy who played the young king was amazing!

Omg man chill. I second that comment - if you like at least some level of maturity and dislike childish stories, you will not enjoy it. No one is dictating anything, it's just the opinions we have.

Yes, this! It's sweet childish behaviour for a child, when you see someone adult (and I assume they are around 20 years old since they are at the university and they drink and drive and all) like that you question if they are slow in their development? Be unserious once in a while is great, but all the time? I know I avoid people like that. I understand that they went in with golden retriever and black cat characters, but it's a bit too literal, especially in a non-fantasy setting. Speaking of uncomfortable, Duang is still so much better than that lobster guy from Secret crush on you. I get cringe shivers even thinking about it.
we really can't dictate what people enjoy. the bl viewers on here (and in general) definitely prefer light romcoms…
Yes, same. Why do you think it is? I saw a a statistics of BL viewers average age and it was 13. Obviously children and adults can't (and shouldn't) enjoy the same things. In that regard I am really happy that BLs started promoting healthy consensual relationships at least.
