Ming Lan is really a character easily loved...smart in a very logical and reasonable way...very natural as well. Damn, why did I get trapped into this show...haha

I mean...initially I thought Xiu Niang just made it up so it would haunt CG thinking he was a monster (while he was not). Then, coming to a chapter telling a story about this curse...then I had a feeling it wasn't a lie. But I kinda hoped it was just a curse or a magic planted in him, and the whole human eating thing was a lie...hahaha... But still, I do like this concept...it is mysterious and a bit 'dark'...which I like :)

Actually, it is hard not to get attached to the main characters in this novel...especially this shizun and his 3 disciples...they are just...I can't describe it in words... And there will be some other characters from different sects which will join the invasion to your heart :)

I kinda enjoy Story of Ming Lan, I really like the FL...this character is such a gem...

I seriously don't know why I like Story of Ming Lan...haha...I never thought I would like this kind of story...but it is almost like a classic...very deep, portraying how women lived in the past in a society where your destiny depends on which family you were born to...and the long episodes really gave time for character development, and I started to think...nowadays, dramas with less episodes really couldn't achieve this...
