Yeah, initially I watched just to see ZLY acting as a young girl. All this because of the mdl comment page for Novoland Pearl Eclipse where some people kept saying YM was so old to portray the role etc, and then some other people started attacking each other saying ZLY was also old etc etc (it was a mess!). Then out of curiosity, I went to see how ZLY looked like in Ming Lan....and end up watching up to episodes 20 now, hahahahhaha
Even if he wears the worst costume, I will still find him beautiful.
He did only wear the undergarment (I mean undergarment in costume drama which is one layer of white robes! HAHA) in And The Winner is Love and still looked stunning!
Yes, agree, 2ha has much more complex plot...and most plots are unpredicted and very surprising. I like TGCF because it is a lighter read...it is very sad, but it doesn't make me depressed like 2ha...plus, TGCF has so many different characters and each character is very well written especially....well, you know, hahhaa...

Wow, I really have no idea such things exists in WoH! I never really read or find out anything about it. Well, you know...I kinda feel, the old time was better...when I watched dramas...just watching it...and enjoyed it if I liked it, or just dropped if if I didn't. Nowaday, because of hyx, I started to browse things related to c-ent, came to know about the rules etc, and even came to join mdl discussion etc...well, I became more or less informed regarding what was going on...and it changed the way I enjoy c dramas forever,hahahha... Well, I do like discussing with other viewers on a drama I am watching, that was something I wished I had known earlier...but at the same time, knowing too much about the actors/actresses and their fandoms sometime made me frustrated too...

We see over the course of the story how steam-powered technology fundamentally changes civilizationāthe work people do, the lives they lead, and the balance of power in the world. In the beginning of Sha Po Lang, weāre faced with a conundrum: although new technologies should logically make life easier for the people of Great Liang, the common people are becoming poorer and poorer. And, although Ziliujin-powered military equipment has allowed Great Liang to overpower its neighbors and receive tribute from them, the national treasury has become emptier and emptier. Why is this? Corruption, primarilyābut the nature of corruption also changes due to the impact of Ziliujin. The feudal system is no longer in equilibrium: since farming puppets can replace human labor, landlords both grow more powerful and wealthy, and have no more reason to grant their end of the deal to the peasants. This ultimately causes widespread starvation and homelessness, and an uptick in peasant rebellions. In addition, the cheap price of rice leads wealthy families in court to hoard gold and silver rather than grain, and also do business behind closed doors, using their influence to dominate over unaffiliated merchants. All of these actions have a depressing effect on Great Liangās economy. Are there any dramas worse than this one? No hating please, whatever it is...it is personal preference. I personally think this is the worst c-drama I have ever watched or maybe Miss the Dragon is worse in my opinion but at least I stopped quite early in that drama so I didn't feel so frustrated as I did with this one.
I am torn between tgcf and 2ha...but I think I like tgcf more in term of the overall novel...maybe because I skipped too many R-rated chapters in 2ha, haha...but in term of the main plot, I like 2ha better...
