AOME was one of the worst dramas but the friends I made in the comments section have carried over here - we had a blast just commenting on that drama as bad as it was.

If they stick to the same storyline as the Chinese version then yes, you can watch it in ease - the mother of the main guy will make you want to punch her but other than that, it’s a wonderful story that will make you laugh, cry and laugh and cry some more. If you haven’t watched the c-drama I highly recommend it.

I loved Go Ahead - I hope this can do it justice.

Was that scene of JA wondering why CY hadn’t called a memory loss scene for JA? She literally told KS the night before she was going to be patient and wait for EA, but then the next day she isn’t well and was wondering why CY hadn’t called her….like she didn’t remember any of her conversation with KS. If these writers make her character have a brain tumor I am gonna be so angry but it feels like there are lapses in JA’s brain - her thinking is just really off.

It was the perfect time for ES to say “I am waiting for my boyfriend, your son, to get here. He’s meeting me here.” But she won’t say a word.

We, as an audience, should have a good idea where this whole story is going at this point.

I despise pretty much everyone except SW, SJ, GR, and EH. ES is “ok” but she is spineless like her dad right now.

He could be - but I think his age is what makes the difference. If he is really 32, then JS had him when she was 17-18. If he 34 then it would be 15-16. It is more likely if he is really 32 (if JA is remembering his age wrong) - if it’s correct and they just aged him 2 years then the writers decided to make it impossible for him to be JS’s son. Does that make sense? We know JA said JS eloped with Tae Ho at some point - when, we don’t know.

Even if the timeline is ok it couldn’t be ES because ES was born 7 years after EH - she wouldn’t have been thought of at that point.

I still think it is highly possible SW is JS’s son with Tae Ho. I may end up eating that theory later. SJ, I believe may be adopted. The scene where she asks her mom if KS is really her dad a look of panic crosses JA’s face for a split second before she hits SJ on the head and tells her she is a troublemaker.right after that SJ is telling ES on the phone she wants to get a DNA test done because she is convinced her dad isn’t her dad. So I am thinking yeah, she is right, he probably is not her dad. And JA is probably not her mom. I think this is why this family is not close - the parents never bonded with these two kids. JS seems to show more concern for them at times than JA and KS ever do.

Here is another question about SW and his family - do they even KNOW what happened to SW in the US? Did they not see the news in Korea where that jerk blasted SW publicly? They watch TV so how could they not know? KS’s Secretary seems to know everything about EA and EH but not SW? If they knew, why haven’t they asked him about it? HY was responsible for that embarrassment to SW - they should know about what happened and who allowed it to happen. Why doesn’t SJ ow? JS? Is this whole family just blind when it comes to each other? Is it because SW was gone for half his own life that they have all just forgotten he is a part of their family? It’s so weird that they didn’t see or read anything about considering the room was FULL of reporters!

HY will drop her obsession like a hot potato when she finds out SW is not JA’s son and most likely isn’t KS’s either - if he is adopted she won’t want any part of the…hello EH.

I see no bond between SW and either parent whatsoever - the dad has said several times to SJ”if you weren’t my child….” Even said the way she acted made him hate her - who says that to their child?? I think JA has never bonded because she was so stuck in the loss of EH and EA - she clearly doesn’t “see” her other two children. The only time we see this family talk is at the dinner table and even then it is mostly JS and JA, or SW and SJ talking to each other. Something very definitely is off in that family dynamic. When SW returns home we never saw JA hugging him and being all clingy with him like she is with EH. Yes, I realize she hadn’t seen EH in 30 years, but if SW never came home for visits, he was gone for 17 years - you’d think JA would have been a lot more loving like she was with EH. But there just isn’t anything there. If this is how life was for SW for the first 17 years of his life, no wonder he left at 17 and stayed gone. He is like a stranger in that house. He must be very very lonely.

The problem is as i stated below - SW is not JA’s son, nor do i believe he is KS’s son. To me there seems to be no bonding from either parent in SW’s family with either kid. Why? I don't know. Maybe, as someone pointed out earlier, JA closed her heart off after losing EH and EA. In any case, she is flat out wrong for treating ES like crap and she will regret it eventually. I still believe we are going to see BOTH women used/will use the kids to keep sniping at each other.

Well we know SW is not hers, maybe SJ isnt either.

There really is no child/parent bond with JA and SW/SJ. She doesnt connect with them. And i really see no connection of SW with anyone in his family. He was gone abroad for 17 years. Did he ever come home for visits? Seems like neither parent really talks to him.

JA gonna regret treating ES badly. She will lose SW over it.
