I agree - but to be fair, And I know you don’t care for JA much, but her last and only memory of her kids are of them as kids - she has to reconcile they are grown adults now. Her only memories are of a 3 year old and a 5 year old. It’s going to be hard for her to not be a helicopter mom with EH - especially with him being a cop - she is going to want to smother him with love and attention and worry about something happening to him - she has been very traumatized by her 30+ year loss of her children - we have seen this in how upset she has been when remembering them. And we know that the more adults dwell on things in the past, the more they tend to get distorted. She needs more time to come to terms with them as adults. I just wish the two women would get along and that CY will be willing to share pictures and stories of them growing up - JA has missed out on their whole lives.

I think you are on to something with the memory loss - this may be why SW;s age changed - and why in ep 28 we get 3 different timelines from 3 different sources, on the same day, when JA goes looking for her kids after she gets out of the hospital. I just hope they don’t have her develop brain cancer out of all of this and use that to reconcile CY and her in the end. Let’s hope the writer’s aren’t that cruel.

I found it interesting that the fraudulent landlord’s name was Chul - CY dated a guy named Yoon Chul , who was rich, before she got with DG. Coincidence? I even wondered if this dude might be Tae Ho too. 😂 or just a way to get her in the same house with JA. Not sure where they are going with this story - I even wondered if gramps has an empty room he wants to rent out and JS will be the tenant but they haven’t mentioned anything like that…so this storyline seems a bit strange right now.

She has already admitted to it several times. Like LA Drama said previously - it is not a misunderstanding to have a married man at your house whether all night or even an hour and have his wife show up to find you holding hands….i know some people are saying JS lied about him being gone all night but I don’t think so - DG seemed shocked when he found out JS never communicated anything to JA and he even asked JA “what grudge does JS have against me that she would do such a thing?” - and we know from JS’s thoughts that she believes DG cheated on JA - so I do believe he was with CY all night or most of it. As a married man, if he was just there to “comfort” a friend, then he should have had his wife go with him. Do I believe they slept together? I don’t. But I believe DG was having an emotional affair - his emotions were with CY and not his wife. To me that is worse because with sex you can at least say it was lust - not saying it is right but lust is just attraction sexually - DG was invested emotionally with CY - that means his heart and love was with her and not the woman he was married to and had children with. The fact that CY admits she “touched” their marriage (or meddled in as LA Drama said) and watched it crumble says a lot about her motives - she knew there were kids involved, yet she did it anyway. This is why I have a hard time feeling sad for her. She deliberately broke up a family. If she thought the marriage was that broken she should have waited for it to end then pursued DG - not help it finish crumbling, leave 2 kids without a mom, then swoop in for the kill.

Another snag in this timeline:

In Ep 39 - I didn’t catch it until I rewatched it again tonight - DG tells EH he met CY when she was 20. Here is the problem with that - JA is 2 years older than CY - so JA was 22 at the time. JA was 22 when she had EA - JA is now 59, EA is 37 - 22 years apart.

What. The. Heck. Are they going to now adjust the adult’s ages too in order to fit this around a no cheating timeline? Or are they going to say DG met CY, fell in love, they broke up all within a 1-3 month timeframe and he got with JA and she got pregnant and he married her? Or was he already married to JA when he met CY? Or was he at least dating JA when he met CY so he was seeing CY behind JA’s back even then? What a terrible mess.

From his story to EH it seems as if the 1-3 month timeframe is what happened if we believe DG didn’t two-time CY. So if that is the case, then he only married JA out of obligation because of a pregnancy. He probably never loved JA. This would make sense as to why the marriage was deemed already “broken” by CY and she knew her chances of crumbling it were good because she knew DG only married JA because she was pregnant….it fits…hope we know more of their background soon.

Ep 18 - CY tells ES about her past love and how she fell for DG
Ep 39 - DG tells EH about CY’s past love ( same guy that CY mentions to ES in ep 18 so we know DG is talking about CY and not JA with EH) and how he met her and fell in love with her.

I dont expect DG to tell the truth.

I really dont know what they are doing with ES. She isnt auditioning, she isnt taking any acting classes - she is working a job that requires a lot of her time doing everything but acting. It is best she doesnt audition for SW's film - it would definitely reek of favoritism should she get the part and you know she will - no one else but CEO Kim and HY know that they are dating but you know HY will blab it all over town if ES is selected for the part. If she is serious about being an actress she needs to be taking classes and going to many auditions as she can. But you know SW will talk her into auditioning, she will get the part, HY will reveal they are dating, and all heck will break loose. 🙄 yes, the drama is going by quick.

oh yes, there is the story CY told to ES about dating her father and then DG told EH pretty much the same story with a few added extras - so their stories matched. I think we all assumed he was talking about JA when DG was telling EH how he met his mom - but after JA revealed CY came from a wealthy family and was dating that one guy that both CY and DG mentioned in their own stories - we knew it was CY that DG was talking about - so yeah, he met CY, they dated, broke up (her family didnt approve evidently) - he thought it was over and then they "found" each other again. I can't remember the episode numbers but CY told her story to ES after she found out ES's ex cheated on her. EH was asking his dad how he met his mom and how you knew someone was the one...it was a couple of episodes later after CY and ES - it was around the time EH realized he was falling for HY and i believe he found out she was interested in SW.

Oh for sure the whole reveal will be very dramatic - personally i think they will all know when SW and ES get engaged and all the families meet for the "first" time to discuss the wedding...... imagine how that meeting will be - it was always in the back of my mind that this would be the way they would do it but then SW didnt seem to be in any hurry to get married but he did mention being a son-in-law today and was hinting at ES that he was considering it. LOL So that may happen sooner than we think.

yes, in a flashback JA walked into CY's home and saw them both sitting on the floor and DG was holding CY's hands - when JA showed up at CY's place the first thing she noticed was DG's shoes by the outside door - then she walked in.

I totally agree he should not have gone to her and she should not have called him over.

This was told in an earlier episode when EH was asking his dad about how he fell for his "mom" . CY.

He doesn’t know ES’s siblings so he won’t know until he meets EH’s parents - and I am sure when that happens, he will realize it. dG and CY need to stop messing around and tell ES.

The way he was asking himself just before she walked in “who have I met several times before” not once thinking it would be her - you know he will start wondering how his mom could sit there with his real mom right across from him and not tell him….that has to cross his mind at some point because he went to dinner with them both, shopped at the same store when both were there….

What caught my eye though was in the previews……SW wants to push back the date of ES meeting his parents……wonder why.

I, personally, think all those letters never got mailed. The ONLY letter JS has in her possession, has talked about, and we have seen, is one that had handwritten directions from DG (had his name on it and it was to Eun A’s mom) on the front. It wasn’t post marked or addressed so it was either delivered in person or given to someone to give to JS. No other letters have been mentioned by JS to KS nor in her many thoughts we hear or her talking aloud. CY is the ONLY one saying JS intercepted all those letters - EA saw them because she told EH she saw their dad with them - I believe he gave them to CY to mail and she threw them away. CY has mentioned those letters to DG multiple times for a reason.

Oh, and in my review of the earlier episodes (i need to start righting down the ep number of what i discover) CY and DG are talking about JA remarrying and CY says she heard JA was marrying a man that had no kids. If that was the truth then KS is not SW’s father.

It would mean she first met him, according to the timeline they are trying to establish, when they divorced or just before. But when CY said EH asked her if she was his mom at 3 years old they should have told him no.

I dont think they could adopt without going to court.
