"his performances quite cold" lol because that is his roles. Do you expect him to be bubbly cheerful as Wei Zhao, or Chang Yi, or as Zhou Sheng Chen? That's not their personalities. He did play that "happy" role in Love a Lifetime which actually seems to be closer to his real personalities. If you ever watch any his BTS, you can see him goofing around with his other casts, so to me, being able to portrayed cold characters, show me his acting level. But we won't miss you if you decide to skip this drama :)
I feel he chose to be villain specialist, or the not-so-nice guy who build the grande scheme. But no matter what, no role can make me hate him more than Yan Shi Fan - Under the Power š Good actor. I see a long list in his upcoming drama, I guess we'll see him more š
The twist between student-master-student (who's the student who's the master š) and amnesia over amnesia, made this drama more interesting than typical xianxia drama. After MM, so far 2025 started strong!
He has a handful dramas (as ML) and only two dramas before Love of Nirvana that have sad ending: The Glory of…
That's what I said lol. Only two dramas have sad ending (three adding Love of Nirvana). You're asking does he ever get happy ending? Burning Flames, Blue Whisper, Forever and Ever, Miss Crow with Mr. Lizard , Love of Lifetime, Under the Power, The Destiny of White Snake , those are example of happy ending. More happy ending than sad ending to me.
Definitely not true.He has 16 dramas where he is the ML.10 dramas with Happy Endings (With 2 dramas; Forever and…
yea, but in the novel there was more explanation how a nine tail fox turned into mermaid while in the drama it's left to our imagination - I read the unpublished script but I forgot from where.

Exactly what I am going to say!! All these people keep saying he's the king of bad ending, obviously hasn't been following his work for too long. PS: The Blue Whisper got messed up with the editing. That's why the ending, HE, got confusing.
