It's been years ever since I watched this movie. I didn't know it was a Korean movie when I first watched it but that is because I first saw this movie back in 2004 and I saw it dubbed, so I totally didn't realize it was a Korean movie until two days ago, when I rewatched it. I randomly found it while browsing through my dvd collection at home and then suddenly remembered how obsessed I was with this movie years ago, how I would watch it, twice a day then once a week until I finally forgot about it. I must say that now, watching it after almost 9 years the effect it had on me wasn't quite the same as the first time I saw it. There are some things that make you go 'ehhhh' at times, some plot holes and some random things added. It's not boring but it's not wow either (but I was obsessed with it because I was what..probably 10 or 11 when I saw it and I was pretty impressed back then)By now if you've watched stuff like Iris and the like you might think that this is nothing, but well it's an old movie after all. But it doesn't hurt to give it a try, it's not a waste of time if you're bored and want something short to watch, the action is good and the scenes inside the train are really good, you can also have some laughs with some of the side characters. Jay and K aren't their real names by the way. Jay's real name in the movie is Do Joon and K's name is Ying Gyung, just fyi. Overall I give it a 7 because it's not THE action film but you can manage to like it if you're into action like me and if you want a classic movie that can give you also a good laugh in the middle of a really tense atmosphere. Give it a try.
