He is so touchy.. His love languages are acts of services and physical touch
He will be glued to him all day and night, he is the kind of boyfriend who is super clingly and touchy, and he will give his clothes to Pete so his touch will always follow Pete even if they are apart ( for one hour or two cause that must be his limit)
Vegas returning home from the hospital to a house where Kan no longer exists. He is faced once again with the feeling of failure, that he never managed to prove his worth to Kan, he never got his approval, and now his place as the heir was taken away too. He is left with nothing. He starts feeling lost till Pete's voice interrupts his thoughts and brings him back to reality. A reality in which Kan is not there anymore and that allows him to be carefree, to be free from any burden and responibitly, free from the need to prove anything and he is surrounded by his two most important persons, he then realizes that he has never been richer in his life.
At fist I thought during the pool scene it would be Pete who would get shot, Imagine how Vegas would feel to lose two important persons from his life on the same day.
His eyes spoke those volumes 😠I hope I see some trauma in s2 and pete can say it if vegas relapses
I hope we do see it and then maybe some inner monologue from Vegas showing his guilt like'' I hurt him so he can remember but I never imagined that I would be the one unable to forget it''
Pete was raped and he died? Oh no, this is terrible. It's better if they don't do a season 2 and just stop at…
No in the first book Vegas rapes as a way of torture since he is his hostage but he later on develops feelings towards him and regrets his actions. Their story in the series follows the books but has changed some things. Here are two main differences between the novel and the series. There is no rape in the series and the little kid , which is Vegas' half little brother was supposed to appear in the hospital scene. In the novel , Vegas' father has a new wife, Vegas' step mother who is pregnant, when Kan died she gave birth to the kid and she abandoned it. Pete decided to adopt it but Vegas did not approve it, however he ended up agreeing because of Pete. That is how their story ends in the first book. The series pretty much followed it but they removed the baby an d the rape when Pete was Vegas hostage. In the novel they have a happy ending as boyfriends who adopt Vegas' little brother and they live happily with Macau too.
In the sequel, ( which take place after the events of the first book and the first season of the series) it seems Vegas goes back to his old ways by raping Pete and neglecting the needs of the baby (not feeding him). He also teams up with Porsche and they are led in a situation where Porsche shoots Pete and Vegas instead of helping Pete he runs away with Porsche I hope this helped you and cleared up any confusion. Feel free to ask if you have more questions.
THIS COMMENT RIGHT HERE!We all loved VegasPete story, both in the novel and mainly in the series, but the authors…
I totally agree, I used to defend VP relationship because of the development in their relationship, which was utterly destroyed in just one chapter. Where did the Vegas who could not bear the thought of hurting Pete anymore go? Whe did his guilt go? Where did his love and devotion go? There is nothing romantic about glorifying abuse and secual assault, especially towards your partner who Vegas already abused once in the past.
Vegas from the series might be a manipulative asshole,a sadistic freak, a cold-blooded killer, but I firmly believe that he would never betray Pete the way he did in the novel. The moment he realized the damage he caused to Pete it was also when he realized how important Pete is to him as a person. From that moment on he prioritized Pete, he put Pete's feelings before his own desires. He never pressured Pete into anything, he did not ask anything of him and he provided him the choice to do as he wishes, to either stay or leave out of his own accord.

I am sure Vegas and Pete will end up together, they will most likely throw some domestic moments in as they did in the first book. But this time it is different. Vegas has not excuse or reason to be forgiven in my eyes, not when he treats Pete once again as a toy. Their story was about forgiveness, healing and redemption. Where did all that go? It feels that the Vegas who saw Pete as an emotional outlet is back and only cares about fullfiling his desires.
I hope season 2 won't follow this storyline, it is a shame to ruin Vegas in the series as well. At least the Dominant/submissive relationship in the series is more accurately represented which gives me hope.

To clear up any confusion, I assume that you have not read the novel. If that is the case here is a brief summary of their story in the novel.
In the novel, Vegas captures Pete when Pete broke in to his house. He chains him to his room and tortures him for days, the torture includes mainly rape which was removed from the series. Vegas raped Pete many times as a way to humiliate him, break his spirit and torture him mentally and phsysically. Their story is more disturbing in the novel than the series. In the middle of their story he started changing after developing feelings for Pete. He started acting more kind and by the end of their story he seemed to have regretted deeply about his cruel actions towards Pete.
In the new chapter it seems that Vegas' character development was disregarded and he went back to his old ways.
Maybe at a certain point, the author will redeem Vegas in the new novel. And just maybe the readers will forgive…
THIS COMMENT RIGHT HERE! We all loved VegasPete story, both in the novel and mainly in the series, but the authors threw everything away in just one chapter. We needed to see Pete and Vegas working on their traumas, mainly Pete. How must it feel to choose to forgive and stay on the side of the person that hurt you the most? Pete gave him a second chance ,forgiving Vegas' cruel past actions and Vegas repayes him by reapting the same actions? It just enchances my thoughts that Vegas in the novel is in love with the idea of being in love with Pete and he does not love Pete as a person. He likes the comfort Pete brings him, he likes how he expresses his ill desires on Pete and Pete tolerates it making Vegas think that Pete enjoys pain when he clearly does not, or atl least he never enjoyed rape. Daemi need to do some re-search when it comes to psychology, BDSM relationships and writing of complex characters.
I honestly can not root for VegasPete in the sequel, I would rather that Pete leaves Vegas alone so he can realize his mistakes once again ,but this time I do not wish for Pete to accept him back. like before Vegas had an opportunity to do better and he wasted it.

I don't think he died, but Vegas left him aloneafter he was shot by Porsche and he run away with Porsche instead of making sure his lover is okay. Yes Vegas raped Pete again. I hate this new chapter with burning passion.
Like I have been waiting for a line like that from Pete but we did not get it.
