Moving on to Vegas. In my opinion, Vegas is one of the most complex characters in the series and very interesting…
This was very interesting to read and I noticed that we are mostly on the same page.
I agree than when he was talking to his father he seemed like a little kid. I noticed that whenever hus father is in the scene Vegas becomes so little and weak in front of him. It shows his trauma and inferiority complex. He feels so small in front of his father, he feels useless and that is why he takes out his negative emotions on others by hurting them. His father is the source of his acts. He tries to please him and at the same time he deals with his trauma.
Pete made him realize that no matter how hard he tries he will never get his father acceptance, because Vegas is not the problem, his father is. Moreover, now that he is receieveing care from someone ( Pete), he is starting to change, because he finally gets what he always wanted. He is starting to break free from his father's inferiority complex and at the same time he has someone to get worried over him and his feelings. Pete must have been one of the very few people who showed concern. As you said,it makes him even more confused that he received unerstanding and care from someone who hurt him. Vegas had assumed that Pete sees the bright side of the word becasue he had not suffered like he did, but Pete proved him wrong. We can even say that Vegas was inspired by Pete. Thanks to him he learnt that there is another way to deal with things. That is why he will try to let aside his anger and try to focus on the positive things just like Pete does. But, at the same time, vegas will try to make Pete connect more with his surroundings, he will encourage him to feel things more strongly, rather than let him to continue discnnecting himself from his own feelings.
Once again, it was very fun and interesting to read your feedback. I really appericate that you took your time to read my original analysis and write your own thoughts.

First of all, thanks for taking up some of your time to read it all, it means a lot <3
secondly, thank you for your feedback, I am glad you enjoyed it!
I agree, for me Vegas is the biggest winner since he gets away from the trauma his father caused him and he has Pete by his side and his brother. He gets what he always wanted, a loving family.

Okay so I am back after thinking a bit about your feedback and there are some things I want to add.
As you said, Pete does not allow himself to feel things. His top priority is fullfilling his duty and he keeps many of his feelings locked inside his heart and hides them behind his smile. Maybe the reason Pete is good at observing is because he seperates himself from everything and everyone. Back in ep 7 during the torture scene everyone looked away, but Pete was able to watch without even blinking. Vegas finds joy in torturing but what was that made Pete not to look away? It was his ability to seperate himself from others. He puts up a wall that allows him to see the overall veiw without getting attached. He seperated himself at that moment from everything because he wanted to focus on his goal. To study Vegas. As said before, Pete's top priority is his duty.
Pete puts above all his duty as a bodyguard ( maybe everything besides his grandmother) and keeps his feelings inside of him. However, Vegas will come and challenge that. Just like Pete will turn Vegas' word upside down by offering him a new perpective in his life, Vegas is going to make Pete face his feelings deep inside him. ''Let it out'', it seems that in the preview of next episode Vegas is already trying to make Pete express himself more and be honest with his feelings. Those two complete each other perfecty because they literally have so much impact on each other that they will change each other's life.
Okay here is my first edit ever! I don't know how to share it another way so it's on IG https://www.instagram.com/tv/CfH0FGKDWlw/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
