I know I said that once VP starts I will spam the entire comment section but since VP happened I only wrote like 5 comments in general, but I have my reasons π
Guys pray for me, my dad just told me that mom disappeared without her phone and it's 9pm here now??
I am sorry to hear that, how long has she been missing for? Maybe she just forgot her phone and she will soon be back. I know it is not easy but try to avoid thinking of the worst case scenario.
BOC SAID THERE IS A SURPRISE FOR US TOMORROW WHAT IS IT

Same bby, I keep thinking about the novel and compate it to the series or looking forward to see how they will adapt certain parts. I do like some changes but some changes feel out of place if we compare them to the novel.
I will just try to enjoy the series as it is cause I have been waiting for VegasPete for so long and I want to have fun.

Pete's observance and ability to see through the real colors of others provided Vegas with new realizations and will make him see things from different lens. He is starting to turn upside down Vegas' reality so far. First he made him question his father and the reason why he ( Vegas) has been acting this way so far. He realized he is the product of his father's inferiority complex. Until now he was desperate to prove his worth to his father but now he realized it was never about him , it was about his father and the fact that he never beat his brother. Secondly, it will make him realize that people can have a hard childhood and still choose to focus on the positive things of the life. He was quick to assume that Pete had a far easier life but it turns out Pete was in a similar situation. Yet, Pete sees things differently from Vegas, he looks at the big picture and he was able to free himself from his father, he was not a victim of his father's inferiority complex unlike Vegas. Pete stays true to himself and he does not try to prove his worth to anyone unlike Vegas who strongly craves and desires his father's approval. Pete's perspective will probably motivate Vegas to become a better person in the future who no longer depends on his father and does not longer want to be approved by his father. Pete will make Vegas break free from his father and make him feel reborn as he will be a new man. He will no longer take actions based on what his father wants. Vegas will learn to live for himself, he seeks acceptance but the only acceptance that he needs is from his own self.
It was rushed. It made no sense. The guy who beats you within an inch of your life now has a soft spot in your…
The only explanation that I agree on is that he was afraid to lose his new exciting toy but the reason it felt rushed it is because of the limited screentime.
I loved how Pete made Vegas see things differently through their little conversation. People can have had it bad without being completely fucked up. He is gonna realize that he can not get a free pas jusr because he had a hard childhood or life.
I love both Pete and Vegas and I would love to see how their story will go in the series.
EXACTLY! Theri story should have started at ep 7-8.
I won; hide my disappointment concerning certain changes but I am astill excited for the rest of theii story, I waited so long after all just to see their arc.

When Vegas got worried when Pete fainte it it made me feel that it was rushed. In the novel thsi was the scene when Pete comforted Vegas for the first time and it was a turning point to their relationship. It was when Vegas started not only seeing Pete as a person but a good person above all.
I was wondering where folks got the idea Pete "enjoyed" being tortured. I never got that. Bu t I trusted those…
Yeah that was what I meant when I talked about consent. I am sleep deprived and I phrased it wrong. What I meant is that a masochist would enjoy being subjected to the pain or humiliation under consent. Rape is whole different thing, not to be confused with BDSM. Rape is a crime, BDSM is about kinks and preferences in sex.

Same , my excitement was going away slowly each time, but I do think that today's ep was good overall. VegasPete story makes sense to a certain point but some certain scenes feel rushed, it is expected if we take into consideration the limited time they have.
If we refrain from comparing it to the novel I think we can enjoy their arc in the series, thay is if we look at it as a seperate work.
Indirect kiss me thinks.
I felt the need to write all this cause Ibelieve Pete deserves more recognition. He is smarter than what he gets credit for.
