Just a little reminder to some that victims don't have to be perfect (there is no such thing as a perfect victim)…
I agree. It is kinda scary how some people put so much faith in their idol that they don't even consider the possibility that things might not be what they seem like, and what is worse is some people excusing abuse because the victim might be promlematic as if that is an excuse.
I agree with you bestie. Both sound like extremely problematic ad toxic people which is why I don't take sides and trust neither but I hope justice is served and if she was abused I hope she gets her justice. Sedning hugs back to you, take your time to distance yourself from this.
People on Twitter are so funny lmao "Watch everyone apologize when build turns out innocent" I will never be sorry…
The amount of blind trust they put in this man makes my stomach upset. What if their bias is actually guilty? But of course that possibility did not cross their minds
Read some comments here and people who are saying how can one support build and give hashtags like we support…
I personally would not do that if an idol/actor/celebrity I admired were in his position. I tend to no invest that much of my energy in another individual that I do not know in real life. When I say I like an idol or a celebrity I mostly refer to their work. I do not like searching too much info about actors and I don't try to get to ''know '' them as it might ruin the way I view their work. I prefer enganging myself with their work itself rather than obsess over the person behind it. I think that's a major problem which results in people getting hurt over situations like this one. Fans paint a picture of their idol based on the colors the industry gives them and once that picture is threatened to shutter they try to protect it in an attempt to protect their safe space and form of comfort , because in reality they view Idols differently from other humans. They put them on pedestal and ignore the fact that they are actually humans like us. Humans who are imperfect and perfectly capable of bad things.
Also I wanna mention that it must be really disappointing for his fans to see things go in this direction. Let this be a reminder that your life should never revolve around a celebrity since you don't really know them. Admiring someone's work and the person themselves are two different things but the line gets blurry easily. People tend to find an escape from their own lives by shifting their attention in the lives of celebrities. That way a false sense of comfort and safety is brought to them and that becomes their ''reality''. We feel satisfied by living in that bubble that media creates for us and once we get caught up it is hard to not get affected when reality bursts that bubble. This is why I stan fictional characters, fictional people do not disappoint. Take care of yourselves people and do not dedicate more time than necessary to a stranger on the other side of the globe.
Fr the entire cast is getting dragged too but i can't trust either of them that's why im neutral although better…
I trust neither of them. They both sound like really toxic people, my gut is telling me they are equally guilty of bad actions. I just don't want innocent people to get caught up in this scandal.
( jokes aside, I think it is best for people to take a break from social media and distance themselves from all this mess )
