Just stick to your smartphone...
It started off as a beautifully friendship... the type that goes beyond time and space... you know that type of friendship that may just change the future type of deal, bringing people back from the dead and all... Cute, sweet and all fluffy... with gummy bears, pastels as far as the eye can see .beautiful scenery and a dysfunctional family or two... if you overlook the locking people up and performing an exorcism or three...Had it not been a horror movie one would almost think it was as cute as cute can be... However this is a Thriller, Mystery, Horror, Schi fi... and boy does it live up to its name with gore. blood, suspense teaching us all never ever to take a call from the past... heck just stay away from all forms of old communication.
Things that did bother me: the killer portrayed as mentally ill... other then that it was really well made and had a decent plot. And though there may not be an appa as far as the eyes can see this movie proves once and for all that you can enjoy Korean content without them.

Depressing and messy
I am honestly trying to grasp what I actually watched, I do not really know what I was expecting and am not really sure what I got as the story seems a bit oddly cut and left a whole lot of blanks for the viewers to fill in on their own and they go back and fourth in time have and have a lot of quiet thought. Honestly rather they are deep in conversation or completely silent... though the issues are relatable I find it hard to connect to the story, the acting is inconsistent, sometimes it is mind-blowing other times I am not sure if it is the dialog, the sound or the action but it feels forced in a way and comes of very unnatural.The whole movie loses depression and darkness as it should considering it's subject, there're some good and interesting lines about who to blame in the event of a sueside others about dealing with an inevitable death near by... Unfortunately these were cut short and could have been done better, but they do get points for actually showing this and attempting to approach this not so very happy subject.
All in all an ok watch, not very entertaining and kind of lacking but it has something in it that still makes it worth a watch, I just can not really put my finger on what it is, maybe you will? O r I may just have to watch it again to understand it. However it was not very entertaining so I probably won't (actually I did re-watch a few scenes just to check if I missed something, I didn't)

Sweet, odd, very, very quiet...
A movie revolving around the hearing impaired without actually including hearing impaired leads.This was a pretty sweet rom-com about a hard working boy who falls in love with a heard working girl , and chases her only using sign language and his adorable charm.
The movie has a slightly odd angle to the subject of love beyond sound and about 95% of the dialog is shown using sign language even thought the main characters have pretty good hearing and can both use spoken words and sound, The two start off using sign language and do not really seem to need sound to fall in love. A pretty decent message as a whole, and I guess showing that hearing or non hearing should not matter is easier when there is a possibility of actually hearing and does give this movie a certain uniqueness.
What i liked about the movie was the way they showed the sibling relationship as well as both perks and troubles of being a sibling to a person with a disability. I also liked that the movie did not ignore prejudice and problems both mede by society and by the disability it self that can affect a persons day to day life without letting it take over the story or be the only side of it. I also liked that they did shoe that it is possible for the hearing to learn sign language and that it is possible to make a whole move using it instead of spoken language too.
But I was a bit bothered by the abele bodied being in focus for the story of the disabled. Even if the stories message as a whole is people with disabilities are human, they can be independent and competent human beings... something just does not really sit right.
All in all an okay movie, nothing wow but definitely different and the leads are sweethearts indeed.

Annoying male lead otherwise great
This movie is really cute, it has a lot of good lines, a pretty good message and amazing acting from a very young Park Bo Young.The kid is just adorable but the male lead was a self centered annoying #"#"¤"¤"4 that got on my nerves more than necessary for the story to be good.
But oh what an adorable kid as a lead and kids in the kindergarten, spreading sunshine and smiles on the screen...
Park Bo Young shows great range here, she is a cool, outspoken, funny and delivers everything one could ask for, considering she was only 18 when this was released that is pretty cool, talking about pretty sensitive subjects as if it was the most natural thing in the world.
All in all a decent watch, and do stay for the credits, to see a nice finishing touch... and just so you know: "Single mothers have dreams too"

Sweet, light but kind of a tease
You can almost feel the smell of coffee when you watch this easy to watch easy to binge C-drama with little drama and more fluff. About two people who bring out the best in each other and are would fit in the enciclopedia under the You complete me.... kind of thing yet border o co-dependent... The side couples and side stories are also sweet, but actually have more drama than the main couple however they an asset to the drama instead of an annoyance that many other side couples often are.The drama itself deals with some jealousy and how easy it is to start a rumor, yet hard to take it back as well as the consequences rumors can have on peoples lives. It has a fight back , friendships rock and together we can do anything kind of spirit to it that I liked. I also liked the woodwork and scenery shown in the drama.
However this drama probably holds some kind of record in almost kisses, and kisses being interrupted and not taken up in years of dating making me seriously wonder about these peoples will power to hold back, lack of hormones or just the generall message of kissing is shameful... I ave seen other dramas where they hide the kiss behind a parade and those where they never kiss and found it odd but fine, but this constant teasing was a tad frustrating to watch so I must warn you about that. Also the way they talk about mental illness is a bit iffy too, yet still try to show that we are all different but mental illness is used as a slur so be were
But other than that definitely worth watching.

Sweet and funny
This is a sweet, not much new but perfect to binge drama if you like the whole idol + enemies in to lovers theme that I LOVE!I have been struggling s bit with my bingable self choosing short series or movies lately but this one was very easy to binge,
Most of the characters here are just so sweet, complex and loveable with some really fun friendships and snarky remarks (just my kind of humor). There was not one single character that was made in a way that annoyed me. Though they did bring out some of my inner anger and I do believe that one of the males toxicity was not properly addressed over all this drama let both leas and second leads where complex human being capable of feeling a range of emotions as well as making some bad decisions. The dynamics between the couples and their friends are great, so are the female leads parents. Oh how I love the female leads mom she is just cool, funny and lovable in every single way.
There where however a few invigorating choices towards the end that just felt unnecessary and brought down the total score for this otherwise really fun drama.
So all in all if you like watching dramas about enemies to lovers that deal with the harsh life of being a star this is definitely worth a watch.

Depressing yet brilliant but really, really boring
This movie is a really feel bad, loose hope for society kind of movie. Yet is extremely depressing not only is the subject depressing but also the atmosphere the colors, the plot everything is just so very very sad and will actually make you mad.This movie shows several aspects to breaking down individuals with mental illness through lack of help, lack of understanding and having to deal with some pretty strong prejudges facing society and loved ones. It is truly painful to watch yet has some dark humor that made me laugh between the oooh so depressing scenes. Showing both the the lack of support from institutions, difficulties in finding work and being pointed out as a psycho who is dangerous by more or less everyone around him. Having people afraid of him warning their children to stay away from him. In all this the voice of reason comes from a kid who thinks we should change the surroundings instead of the person, I truly loved that kid.
The entertainment value of this drama is probably worth one star or two at most since it is truly boring 90% of the time, But the dark humor, the message, the acting the lack of sugarcoating and the way this is done is worth 10 stars so I settled on 8. But be were you are in for some truly boring scenens and probably this years (ok 2017s) feel bad movie of the year with a dash of madness... Its a mad world and damn that world will make you mad.

Great female lead and interesting story that is less familiar then one may think
I came for Han Ji Min and stayed for the story.What if... don´t we all have the what if I had stayed... what if I had showed upp in time... If I could just redo this one thing would my life change and would I be happier? What about the people around me would they be happier in a world where I made a different choice?
The story start off like many other stories like them an unhappy marriage. a miserabel life filled with misfortune and lets face it a guy who is a total d**** , to be honest the guy may evolve as the story progresses but he is still a total coward and a d**** hence not very lovable (yet handsome) making me wish the female lead would stay singel . The female lead is however cool, fun and just has this amazing vibe to her that made me wish her all the happiness in the world, no matter who is or is not beside her.
The acting in this drama is great, the side characters are all lovable, and add that little extra spark to the story-line. The pace of the drama is good as well and it truly is a good drama that almost makes you forget the whole back to the future theme to it...
If you have seen go back couple this drama is a bit more mature it has more drama, more smart humor, less awkward humor and is more about the male leads journey and how small choices can change ones life completely. More responsibility less communication problems, and an entirely different plot. I liked both the acting, the plot and the side characters in familiar wife more (but enjoyed both).
Last but not least, I was really surprised by the ending so I guess this may not be a must watch but definitely worth the watch !

Depressing at times powerful other times
This movie attempt to show the process and hardships of gaining refugee status as well as hints in to the ups and downs of recovering from a drug addiction showin the human behind the dirt in an okay way.I cant remember ever seeing a movie depicting this situation in such a straight forward dark yet hopeful back to dark again kind of way. There are several elements in this that bothered me. the stereotypes, the gangsters, places that do not match where they are supposed o be (the airport looked a bit more like Brussels train station than its airport) .
And I am conflicted about the romance in some ways it makes our refugee more human in other ways it steels away from the realism and main plot of finding refuge and surviving.
The acting is good, the emotions are definitely there and besides the sets feeling off (for those who have been to Brussels), its is really beautifully made.
Still the movie is dark, depressing and adreses an important issue so Id say watch it not for the romance but for the issues.

Nice male lead, bestie and niece ,annoying everything else
I started this craving cliches, an icicle male lead and some mindless nothing. What I got was an adorable male lead, some decent friendships, several lovable characters and a slightly different take on the oops I got pregnant from a one night stand with the CEO. I also got a lot of over the top characters, a business side plot that gave nothing, absolutely nothing to the plot and an Disney villan of the worst kind making me lower the score over and over again. I also got never ending monologs, preachy moments and people talking as their past selves making me roll my eyes, again and again and again.Add to this that there is a complete disproportion of forgiveness, some are so, so easily forgiven even after years of evil deads and torture others just ok you figured out that what you did was bad, all is forgiven welcome to the family... Wait what?
The male lead lovely as he was just could not up the score enough for me to be able to fully recommend it but if you are in the mood for Ooops I got pregnant by the amazing CEO it kind of does the job, just mind all the other stuff.

"Love is looking in to someones soul and see how it shines"
This is a beautiful movie, where I feel like every shot was made to be pretty and say something. Exactly what they are trying to say I am not sure so I think I may need to rewatch this to fully let the movie sink in with all it has to say.What I do see is a love story, a story about friendship a story about pain and emotions and connecting on a deep level with someone who sees you for who you are. It is rare to see such displays of emotion from and I applaud it.
This is in no way a feel good movie, more of a feel...

Easy binge, brain off mindless entertainment
This was a fun watch, a bit silly at times but mostly adorable with decent characters and one of dreamlands most adorable dogs.It is a brain off kind of drama, the type where you just sit back, enjoy the references to other dramas and kind of ignore the silly parts. The female lead is smart, fun, sweet and has an interesting storyas to tell as well as good character development. Her life mantra tells a lot a bout the way women often are forced to silence just to be able to make t through the day. This drama also shows the difference between surviving (barely) and living on ones own terms.
The drama also offers quite a bit of insight to prejudice and friendship, pitty vs. thoughtfulness and a bunch of ways to depict family done pretty okay.
Our male lead is adorable in so many ways, well stiled a feast for the eye.
Pacing is also pretty okay, just mind the over the top misunderstandings and complete lack of logic and you will be fine.

Good for the night
This is an easy quick watch, small windows in to the lives of a few ofice workers in diffrent places in life, having different relationships with each a set of problems of their own.the characters are all interesting, though the windows are a bit to small and the main couple got a bit to much of the screen time I enjoyed the realistic way they showed their insecurities, consent, and attempts to experiencing sex for the first time. Navigating expectations with fear and a whole lot of insecurities,

Long build up makes a decent story
First of all if you are in this for the romance then walk away there are rare pebbles of romance but not much more in that department.However if you are in it for the power, corruption and intrigues than you are definitely in for a ride. As this is a drama that will have you questioning pretty much everything from politics, to ethics, to idols... Basically showing us that the truth is what the highest bidder wants it to be.
An interesting story, with some pretty decent characters and a few annoying characters... Like the mom I wanted to frame for murder. But a it also has aute daughter and bad ass director
Ps. male lad looks better as a homeless guy, enjoy that look while it lasts.

Educational slightly preachy but has its moments
This little film about the city bus has some interesting moments, but I feel like Im being taught how ride a bus... It also goes a bit to far to make us think and feel stuff, something that kind of annoyed me.But over all it is kind of impressing that hey managed to fill almost 20 minutes of film mostly on a bus, without adding elements of Speed, explosions or Hollywood stars.
