So, now the Dowager consort got to know that Empress Dowager is just using her and doesn't trust her very much?…
I think FLs uncle is more worried. Having the edict will clear the Ding family and ML but then she is dredging up the past. Basically he is worried about what will happen to FL and MLs relationship if everything comes out and FLs mother rile in MLs brother dying. So to protect her happiness he wants the past to stay the past. At least thats what i think.
Who is Han Mingyue? ngl I find ep 25 confusing, not sure why
He is Han Mingxi brother. They were looking for Mingxi at the beginning when he first was on screen. They said somthing about the 2 brothers being the only ones to survive (cant remember what they survived. Guessing exile because of their connection to eastern palace-Mo Jingli)
Okay i am loving the fight scenes so far. FL and the transformering back and forth from her and Master Zhu. ML fighting in wheelchair. And then showing up to protect FL was the best eay to show he is cured. ML is all kinds of suspicious but he still wont just ask (i guess he is trying to make her trust him for her mental health but still). Captain Li is also at Lishan to finally get the answers we were all expecting. I'm a sucker for Lin Munro's (Han Mingxi) little puppy dog devotion to FL for saving him. He wont leave until he pays his debt. (I want it to stay platonic, abandon the direction of him crushing on her). Let him see her as a mentor please. (I'm older than Lin Munro so everytime i see him i cant help but go he is a cute little kid with that dimple - who i do eant to see have his main role).
AHHHH.....i can't believe it ended 😭😭 my fav series. My Mondays will be so dry without them 😭. I still…
Completely agree. Who knew rice could make me teary. Definitely a solid final episode. Randomly started with now expectations but this is probably my number 1 kdrama this year.
Never thought rice would make me emotional. I really liked this finale and so glad there will be a season 2 maybe?…
I love that he realized that he had the skills without the system because his dad already taught him. Also love he was able to pull from his memories of cooking at the outpost to help like picking out the onion. It does wrap nicely with a great way to potentially introduce season 2 officer's mess.
Never thought rice would make me emotional. I really liked this finale and so glad there will be a season 2 maybe? But thats gonna be so long from now. I loved how the supporting cast got their moments too.
I love that we get to see his perspective on her behavior since we get to see how obsessed his already is with…
Right I think it was episode 4 where he starts memorizing everything. I loved the way the pov shifted, probably one of my fav episodes actually I think so far. We also I think get to see the real FL because she usually puts on a mask but he can already see through it.
I think since he can already see her trauma response of having hallucinations and his only thought is to help her immediately by curing her loneliness and becoming her anchor, he will subvert all our Cdrama trope expectations and not blame her. 🤞
Not an episode goes by without Cheng Lei’s “WTF” expression. 😂
I love that we get to see his perspective on her behavior since we get to see how obsessed his already is with his wife watching her every move. And he is definitely more curious about her behavior than anything and now want to help her.
i wonder if any of you looks foward, as I do, to the female lead to tell her husband that she actually went to…
I said to another comment but I hope that they don't do they typical he gets mad that she hid the secret about his brother's execution and last wish. Honestly I feel like they have avoided a lot of tropes so far so hopefully we dont get this one. I am more concerned that he will think that she is with him only because of repaying her mother's debt to the family. I am ready for them to team up to clear the Ding name. Oh absolutely she learned medicine to help him.
How is the drama going so far?? Is it worth it?? I mean it's cheng li and bailu i know it would be good but if…
I am someone who hates palace politics and I have been obsessed with this. I have been watching since day one on a whim for the above reason and I was hooked immediately. How the story unfolds about the past is well done. ML and FL have a healthy relationship in my opinion. It the only Cdrama I'm watching at the moment.
So far their relationship has been built on communication I feel and FL does open up about things to ML. So I am hoping at most ML is angry for an episode like with the bandits. Honestly I'm worried that ML will think that FL is only with him because of the promise to ML's brother than he will blame her for the edict. I can't wait for them to team up to clear up the case since both are working on it independently.
I’m not watching the drama but I’m following everything about it..can someone answer me..the legs are his…
She made a promise to ML's brother to help him as a way to repay her mother's debt ( the brother being executed). Her illness we got the answer to today (17), he has been noticing things were off but he finally got confirmation that she is hallucinating the maid. And basically without using modern language it is a problem with the heart not head so the treatment is making her not feel lonely anymore. Preview seems to show ML spending more time with her. My suspicion is he is starting to question the letters she is writing to Lishan and will investigate those next.
So the final dish is the one from his mom's stall right using the skills he learned on leave. I can't wait for tomorrow's episode at the same time I don't want this to end. ML's face at the end was so heartbreaking. I need another season, I don't even need a outarching plot like the spoiled ingredients. Just more the boys cooking cause I love our team of 3.
ML's narcissism was okay when it was portrayed as a parody at first, but to me it's like he stayed like that.…
Have you checked out Love Scout. Female boss and single dad secretary. Its more cute than funny. A little bit more heavy at times and not office setting but Can this love be translated? Leading actress and ml who works as translator on her show.
Overall i did really like this one and went into not having any real expectations. This was a cute slice of life youth drama. I do think the school years could have been a little shorter (did we really need ML to suffer that much). I kinda didnt like their first meeting as adults. I think it could have been better and the reason for FL deleteing their contact in between for 5 years was weak. I also think there were too many flashbacks in the last episodes. But we got a HE for all the characters and their relationship was cute in the end.
