I'm against the AI intro just like everyone else. The difference is that I also paid attention to everything else—the acting, writing, chemistry, direction, and the work of the people I actually came to watch. It's really as simple as that.

I am honestly getting tired of reading all the negative comments because I genuinely enjoyed this drama.

I don't understand why people keep saying it feels like a vertical /short drama when it clearly doesn't. There weren't any illogical scenes or those forced interactions between the leads that are so common in many short dramas—forced skinship, dull chemistry, sloppy editing, and messy acting. Sure, there are some genuinely good short dramas out there, but saying this drama belongs in the same category just feels unfair.

I also think a lot of the disappointment comes from expectations. The reactions remind me so much of when BTS released "Arirang." People were fixated on the English lyrics, saying it didn't feel like the "old BTS," and they were already criticizing the comeback during the live stream because it wasn't "BTS enough." It feels similar here. And here they are with this drama, getting hung up on the AI-generated intro and the fact that it looks like a vertical/short drama.
Then it became all about, "My expectations were this and that."

I actually think criticizing the intro is fair—I personally wish they would change it too. But staying hung up on those two things and letting them define the entire drama just isn't fair. At this point, it feels like people have nothing else to criticize except the AI intro and the vertical-drama look, while completely overlooking the actual story, performances, chemistry, and production.
And honestly, I expected this. With Zhang Linghe's recent popularity, I knew even the smallest flaw would be blown out of proportion and heavily criticized.

WOAHHH TRULYYYY ...U actually wrote what I was feeling. The chemistry is just sooo spicyyy, beautiful and so amazing. Idk if anyone is talking about the adorable second episode. The whole interaction was so so so sweet. And then the way they added up all that fireeeeee in their convos in the latter episodes.I'm in luv with this drama. The first episode was a little bit here and there but from second onwards it just goes on and on with banger and amazing scenes. Omg The Opera singer...damn I loved her toooo.

Actually, here's what happened. The Ghost Stories case was originally supposed to be the next main storyline immediately after Starlit Cafe. However, the set was destroyed by heavy rain, making it impossible to film as planned. As a result, the production team had to create an alternative story arc for that section.

These four episodes are therefore still connected to the main storyline. They explain that the dungeon has four levels, and when the cast tries to teleport to the third dungeon, they encounter a problem—essentially a "bug" in the game's system.

In the first two episodes, the cast investigates the bug by watching and reacting to previously aired episodes to find clues. In the following two episodes, they work to fix the bug by completing five different games to eliminate it. That's why these episodes feel more like a behind-the-scenes or transitional arc leading into the third main storyline.

So, even if some people don't consider these to be "main story" episodes, they are still canonically connected to the overall storyline and serve as a bridge within the main narrative.
