This movie celebrates people who are invisible - metaphorically, literally and poetically. The strength of this movie is its silence that slowly seeps through one's senses, emotions and thoughts. Tae-suk lives like the elements of realistic world but also revolves like fantasy one. He is homeless but everyday a family or a person unknowingly gives shelter to him and in return he repairs and performs the daily chores for them. Unexpectedly when he meets Sun-hwa , his life changes a little, so does the life of the abused wife, who was a former model. They start a slow silent relationship, relying on each other during their hard times. This movie can be interpreted in many way. For me it was Tae-suk being the spirit that awakens or safeguards one's house making it lively. Someone who is lonely at home (like me) can feel these spirits that hold you, when you need to vent your anger and express your worries. This film touched me so much that I as in awe with its plot, characters and direction. It was slow, beautiful and in some ways soothing.
