Zanghai really is a genius. He knows Xian Antu has a grudge against Mr. Cao and Lu Jin and he used it to his advantage.…
Technically speaking, putting them at odds also means he is eliminating the possibility of them uniting as allies. Deliciousness is such a good word for all this, yes!
I guess I missed something. What was that letter about found inside cao's foster son body?
The one Zanghai forged. He mentions the seal in it, the one his father hid. We don't know exactly what it says but we know both the eunuch and the marquis want it. They probably stuffed it down the dead man's throat which is disgusting but what a brilliant set up.
Zanghai in episode 14 really shined. I keep going back and this is a moment of true brilliance from him.
Allowing Lu Jin to get back to the capital which clears him when it comes to the suspicion of his identity. Then he uses FL's connections and shifts the blame of LJ death to the marquis. This also helps the FL because they were creating her problems so she and Zanghai cooperated well. Marquis started thinking even better of his second son but his behavior pushed the kid more towards Zanghai.
He knows both the marquis and the eunuch know and want the seal so he introduces the idea of it now, which together with the notion that the marquis killed Lu Jin assures they will enter conflict.
So many things in just one move. Now that is a strategist. My favorite episode.
I think he wouldn't have directly answered that even if the reporter insisted. Everybody is aware what role they're…
There are a lot of melons about his drama and the FL, so let's wait.
The drama is actually very male centered. It has two female characters, one older, one younger that matter but neither is huge and there is no romance. He will join on the 25th most likely so we will know the truth soon.
Ah yes but I'm suppose it's a question of finding the right script at the right time. There is some talk his project after this one is already signed, not to mention the three body possibility. I love a good crime drama so I hope he manages to find something that works for him.
Episode one got stuck because table tennis had a major match in world championship and it sucked up everything. Everything. Ratings were over 4 for it! But! Zanghai actually fought so well which is important and still got over 1.73. It's a great indicator of a stable audience during something that is pretty much our national sport.
Once free of sports for the second episode? It soared!! Ratings broke 2 and we ended with 2.14 and 10% market share.
The first episode is so absurd with the kids. Really weak writing there. We have a wild pre teen girl that is…
About the girl, you have to keep in mind who she is.
We are talking about a princess from a matriarchal line. The highest form of nobility who has been up to her eyeballs in lessons from the time she could walk. Being proficient enough with her weapon of choice at her age to do what she did is pretty much expected. She also sees herself as above everyone else, as people of her status do, so when Zhinu sees her crying she feels extra humiliated on top of the already horrible situation. It's not absurd what happens next, it's pretty realistic. If she had more power, she would have demanded his head. And gotten it.
Its the first time i see a little girl get executed like that. That coal in the mouth is kinda cruel too yikes.…
It can pass the censors because it is not glorifying the old empire but rather showing its real cruelty. Later you will see more but that is what was actually the practice back then, not to mention there were far worse things that aren't included here.
Episode 11 was both disappointment and at the same time great.
To be honest, that FL part was idol level quality and idol level acting and this is the first time I fast forwarded. It dragged on way too long and is a really big departure from what this drama has been so far. There is a really noticeable difference in acting quality here as well as tone. If it continues like this, I will simply skip everything around the FL unless it becomes crucial to see.
The great part was the ML2. I had an inkling that I would like him and I did. Zanghai choosing to come from this angle makes sense. What doesn't make sense is Zanghai's behavior in regards to his scars. He looked at that wine, he knew what that was. I think the reveal was allowed, on purpose. He took an enormous risk when he did this. This is I believe one of the first significant turning points in the drama because that risk will pay off. Zhixing is smart beneath the fool surface that was a defence mechanism and the only way he knew how to stay afloat. That ending! Now to 12!
Disney is for an extremely limited market of Taiwan and Hong Kong. Netflix should be possible.
Cnetz misunderstood at the beginning that Disney+ was doing a global simultaneous release so a lot of that is still lingering around. It's best to just wait and see what will happen. I am hoping for Netflix because Disney+ is way too limited in audience.
ITTF World Table Tennis Championships Finals Doha is being shown on CCTV5 at the same time as Zanghai which means we are fighting that plus the usual movie on CCTV6, the drama going on CCTV1 and as an addition tomorrow basketball will probably go to CCTV5+
So it's a massive fight for people and TV ratings.
As it is, he at least kept the dangerous object out of their hands.
