She has really good connections and the Magnolia award boosted her profile. There were a lot of questions about this in China too (she is also older than him) but in the end, this is who the production chose. We can only hope for the best outcome.

My pleasure! It's very different from OOL, it is a serious drama tackling many issues.

In fact, for China it almost borders on controversial on some issues though as far as I know, XZ demanded the script to be altered somewhat before he said yes.

I do think that the beginning will be the same - "flying knife" is a term we use for surgeons who travel to a different hospital in order to perform surgeries that cannot usually be done there and are often paid under the table for this. This is why the ML goes back, he is caught doing it. Medical themes that affect society can be tricky but I trust they will try and do their best.

This is me, it is actually exactly why I am here. To check out what people say about the ending so that I can decide whether to watch or not.

Endings matter because they wrap up the whole story and if it doesn't work then yes, it absolutely ruins the drama for me. See Reborn Rich. Considering the genre, I figured the ending would be a cop out but I had hoped for better. Eh.

Just to be clear, 227 was not caused by Xiao Zhan fans. It was an organised campaign to destroy his career and then pick up all the resources and fans by the designated person.

See the recent court case against the 227 ST hosts that has finally been finalised and where they have been found guilty if you have any doubts. It is very, very clear what happened that year.

Anyone who says otherwise is not a XZ fan but an anti who is spreading that same propaganda from 2020 that tried to ruin him. I see we have some here now, so just be aware.

I was going to wait till it was over but then I just couldn't help myself in the end and binged the available episodes. What a great show and seeing the old cast now, especially Arata for me, is really the icing on the cake.

I haven't read the novel and I thought it was really fun. Hardly a masterpiece but a common summer popcorn flick where you relax and just enjoy.

Some parts were very obviously rushed, some inconsistencies but nothing to ruin the mood. CGI was OK, the budget actually wasn't anything special for the type of requirements this genre has so overall it is fine. It also made me want to read the novel which is good.

Pay no attention to the people who have been spamming these comments with their doom and gloom. The two answering you haven't even seen the movie.

Data absolutely matters. They matter to the platform, producers and the crew. They are essential and signify a successful drama, or a flat or failed broadcast. They mean everything because based on them, the production and actors can move up with better resources.

If you aren't a data person, that's fine. Don't get into that part of the posting then. You can have all the fun you require without touching data posts and falsifying numbers.

If not endorsing falsified numbers for a drama makes me a toxic fan, I will be one fifty times over. You can fake data for whatever other drama you want but not this one.
