People's Daily alone is big next to CCTV but it's on Xinhua and pretty much every other account they have. When you advertise nationally in this way, then the reach is huge and way outside fan circles. Xiao Zhan himself has a far bigger nationality too than many realise, or care to realise internationally.
Youku is also doing well, offline promotion is everywhere and it should especially take off from tomorrow. Looking at it in that way, it's not strange heat is rising so fast. It's a novel feeling for XZ dramas because usually cxfx had to carry the burden.

The only thing that is certain is that Disney+ has it for Taiwan and HKG and a Vietnamese platform has it for their market. I am also hoping that Youku will sell it to Netflix because objectively, that's the best option. We wait!
