I know that she was ill but this is not only about her now when a child is in the middle. When she got ill she should have thought more about the future for her child Umi. She should have known that her mother would contact Natsu and she would tell the truth.
To me it sounds like Mizuki was too stubborn to go to him herself.
Doesn’t matter if she saw him with his girlfriend. She should still have contacting him.
What I am trying to say that when you have a child it’s not always one way ticket.
And that is my reason to not really liking her. She is only thinking about herself.
If her illness is something serious like spinocerebellar degeneration.
Then that’s just a lot more reason she should have contacting Natsu. Especially when she has been mentioned his name to her daughter.

I didn’t really like the phone scene just because she was talking about THEIR daughter. As the biological father he has the right to know. I feel so bad for Natsu.
I really cannot care less for her 7 years hell as a single mother because that was she choice for herself.
As of right now I have it very hard to feel bad for Mizuki, she’s far more than selfish. At first she decided to have a abortion without telling her boyfriend and then she decided she wants to have the child. And again without telling Natsu.
She is not really coming out in a good way 🙂
But I guess she is the type that thinks that by having a child would just be a burden for Natsu. It would stop him from having a “brighter future”. She thinks she knows what is the best for other people.
She is not really letting Natsu think for anything. He obviously wanted to have the child but he didn’t have any options.
And the mother that tried to put the blame on Natsu for not knowing the “obvious”
I could go on more but I know that non of you would want to read all of that.
I can't explain how disappointed I am with this series. It felt a little weird how everything went to smoothly at the end. Like how the old man suddenly got a heart attack and Haruto suddenly decided to be a good guy again. And I could not feel anything for Otomo because of how little screen time he had for the whole drama.😓
So when he sat at the chair in the end, I couldn’t care less.
I feel like this drama was just for Akaso fans and nothing else.
Akaso was fantastic in this, it is just the writing that I didn’t like at all.
Even if the story is nothing new.
